Awesome place to celebrate IU graduation. Champaign flows freely to celebrate. Mimosas in morning. Huge breakfast spread for all guests. Nice lobby for a fun family game of euchre. Staff is incredible!!!

Looks very clean, sleek and modern. No problems with the hotel but just that their 24 hours snack shop at the reception was unattended for over half an hour, leading us to leave our stuff because we couldn’t purchase it. Small note :)

Clean, modern, and with all the amenities you need. Our room was spacious with a small office/​living room area separated from the sleeping area. The bathroom was open and bright and incredibly clean.
The biggest surprise was the free continental breakfast, which included fresh strawberries and pineapple, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, almond milk (chocolate and vanilla), yoghurt, fresh spinach, salsa, pastries, and the standard waffle maker and juice machine.
The front desk attendant was very personable and professional.
Overall a great value for the price.

This overnight experience was on point from the minute my feet hit the doormat.
The location? Conveniently located within walking distance to the B-​Line trail, the «square,» and even the IU football stadium.
The service? Impeccable, professional, and friendly.
The space? Modern, clean, bright, and spacious.
My room had two plush, luxurious queen beds fit for royalty with four marvelous pillows to rest my head on. The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. I liked the small «living room» set-​up with an L-​shaped couch and desk that had a fogged glass mirror to pull back for privacy from the bedroom area. TV is in an awk location for the room, though.
Also, great free continental breakfast with waffles, hot Irish oatmeal + toppings, yogurt, soy milk, fruit, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy… you get the picture.
If I were returning to Bloomington for an overnight, I would stay here in a heartbeat. Highly recommend SpringHill Suites!

Top five reasons I would recommend resting your head at SpringHill Suites:
1.) the rooms are stunning (new, spacious, clean and designed well)
2.) they’re located right off the main square and BLine Trail
3.) complimentary continental breakfast (I’m always down for a light and free breakfast)
4.) the staff was super friendly and helpful
5.) indoor pool
Only note: the tv is in a weird location in the room making it not super handy for viewing.

SpringHill Suites is now the only hotel we choose when visiting our son at IU. The hotel is modern and new. Rooms are consistently clean and well-​maintained. It’s nice to have extra space with both a desk and a sofa especially if one of us wants to stay up later. Finally, the free breakfast is delicious and quick. Trust me, we’ve stayed at many hotels in Bloomington, and this is the best!

After a long trek of Fairfields, I stumbled upon the SpringHill while traveling to Bloomington. Located in the middle of downtown, this newly renovated gem immediately won my affection with the pleasant staff that checked me in. It was quick (mobile) and easy and the lobby smelled new and clean. They have a decent market, but the real win is the downstairs lobby bar. They pour stiff drinks and pour em late, so this is a perfect place for after a basketball game, or just to unwind after a long work day. It is walking distance from some of the best restaurants in Bloomington and has underground (paid) parking. My next time through Bloomington will definitely result in a stay here again.

This is the only hotel I’m interested in staying at in Bloomington. It’s so freaking nice! I find the location to be great. Very much within walking distance of the center of town, but far enough away that it’s fairly quiet outside. The front desk people are as friendly as friendly gets — they seem to genuinely like working there. It also doesn’t hurt my mood that they have a huge bowl of Chupa Chup lollipops at the front desk for you to choose from while you wait to check in.
The rooms are another part of what keeps me coming back. They are fairly spacious (which makes sense because they’re suites) and they are so clean! It’s a newer hotel, so that lends itself to the cleanliness, but they appear to be keeping up with things nicely. The décor around the hotel is really well done as well. Everything is white, shiny, and modern. Kind of European hotel meets HGTV in style. I happen to really like it.
And the beds are pretty comfortable, too! Definitely THE place to stay on your next visit to Bloomington.

Nice place to stay in a good location. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, although I do wish housekeeping used a vacuum a bit more during my stay. The free breakfast was good, scrambled, eggs, bacon or sausage, yogurt, fruit, bread, etc etc. The coffee was especially good, which I really appreciated in the AM. It was always promptly ready at 6:30, which was good because I had an early start each day. Plenty of covered parking as well. Nicely priced too.

Best IU Homecoming experience, thanks to this hotel. Arrived to only stay one night and leave after the game. However, after the pre-​game activities at the hotel, decided to stay an extra night. The rooms were modern and included everything you would need for a weekend stay. The service was like that of a bed and breakfast. The hotel was walking distance from all of the downtown B-​town excitement. Great choice!

Ridiculously nice. Clean, modern design. Beautifully appointed rooms with great work spaces. Spotless. And this is not the best part of my visit. The staff is the star here. I couldn’t get a treadmill running and a housekeeper solved the problem. There was a tiny back-​up at registration and the bartender came racing over. I had a brief chat with a housekeeper on the fourth floor. She was engaging and helpful. This reflects a productive and customer — oriented work culture. There is magic in the air at this location.

If I could give SpringHill Suites in Bloomington 6 stars I would.
My wife and I got married in Bloomington and used this hotel to block rooms for our guests and everything could not have worked out more perfectly. Not only is the hotel in an ideal location, but from the moment we booked the block the staff could not have been more helpful and responsive. They stayed on top of our room count, adding additional rooms as needed, and when our 70+ guests checked into the hotel they handled everything with ease, distributing our goody bags and always making sure we had everything we needed.
The hotel has some of the cleanest and best designed hotel rooms I’ve ever been in, with a sitting area in each room that is separated from the beds, and spacious and clean bathrooms.
I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bloomington, and particularly if you need multiple rooms for an event!

stayed a week here with my family and i want to rave about the wonderful people who work here! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location perfect for finding restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great hotel! Super friendly staff and clean rooms/​facilities. We had a large group of alumni stay here and everyone had great things to say about the place. The location is nice as it is an easy walk to campus. Parking may cost $ 7/​night but it is worth the convenience. There is free weekend street parking close by for those looking to save a few bucks. The free breakfast was great and there is yogurt, fruit and coffee/​tea available throughout the day. This hotel is probably nicer than some of the pricier Marriott or Renaissance hotels that I’ve stayed at recently. Rooms are also really well sound-​proofed for those worried about noise in a college town. It’s nice to have a spacious quality/​clean hotel in Bloomington now!

I’m a Marriott veteran, having stayed at everything from the top places in resort cities to the little category 3 places in suburbs. As spring hill suites go, this leaves nothing to be desired. I got a gorgeous room with a sofa, nice desk, and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast is included and was really just fine.
I usually beat up hotels for their fake commitment to the environment. These folks didn’t change my sheets or towels during my 2-​night stay – which is exactly right and what I want. They had free coffee in ceramic mugs, not plastic-​wrapped plastic cups.
The thermostat worked. The bed was comfy and clean. The pillows were nice. I had a fridge, microwave, and ironing board. Everything I needed.
The staff were really friendly, which is funny to someone who lives in Europe. It’s the classic American stereotype of being genuinely and overtly friendly and helpful. But this is America and that’s how it ought to be.
Its a short walk to my Bloomington office. I’ll very likely stay here again.
I wish the parking didn’t cost money, but T’s a downtown location. I suppose that’s inevitable.

We were attending a track meet at IU and found this to be the perfect place for us.
Close to IU? Check. (even walk-​able for a football game)
Close to Downtown Bloomington for bars and restaurants? Check.
Clean hotel with great service? Check.
Free breakfast that is actually edible? Check.
Even with the place sold out and full of youth track teams, the noise level was never loud, there was never anything «empty» at the breakfast buffet and parking was always available (park in the outside part — it’s actually closer to the lobby).
Every employee we encountered was helpful, friendly and had a smile.
Not sure if I’ll ever be back to Bloomington but if I do, I know where I’ll be staying!

My family came down to Bloomington for a weekend and booked a two-​bed studio on the fifth floor. We’ve had bad luck in the past with dumpy hotels and far-​out locations, but this hotel was simply amazing.
First, the room was clean, modern, and easily fit two adults and two teenagers. There were two queen-​sized beds, as well as a pull-​out full bed from the couch.
The location was fantastic as well! It was about three blocks from the main square, and because the parking in their garage is included in your stay, we didn’t have to worry about metered parking around the downtown area.
As far as amenities, they had a bar (that’s sadly only open after 4pm), as well as a little convenience store and a killer continental and complimentary breakfast every day from 7−10am. The breakfast included coffee, various baked good such as danishes, muffins, and bagels, as well as make-​your-​own waffles, yogurt, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and fruit drinks. No fresh fruit that I could see, but the rest definitely made up for it.
You can tell they’re still working some kinks out, having been open for under a year. My only problem was that we had to put the sheet on the pull-​out full bed, which was cumbersome. However, the sheets were brand new and came packaged in the closet, so at least we knew they were washed.
I definitely plan on staying here again the next time family comes to visit.

This SpringHill Suites is one of the newer hotels in Bloomington (some areas still under construction). I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful when needed. The Room Service (mostly maid service) was decent but one day it was quite terrible. Overall my stay was just fine. The room was comfortable, location is great (downtown Bloomington), and the hotel was clean.

A fresh hotel room with friendly staff, clean & comfortable beds and a unique room layout! The Walk-​in closet was a plus. Wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was excellent. The eggs had salsa and the bagels … Wait for it … Nutella!!. *limited parking spaces, but we found one.

Very good and completely new Hotel! I am so glad we decided to stay here. Only three weeks old and everything (!) is super modern and new. Very friendly staff! Highly recommend to everyone who is IU area.
