Perfect Fit Alterations

I am delighted to have a place where I can get my clothes tailored and repaired. I’m very pleased with their work. Everything has been completed by the date they said it would be. I have had many shirts shortened, and I’ve had a zipper replaced and a neckline widened. The results are professional, and the ends of my shirts don’t pucker up (or fold over), which is what I thought hemming always led to!

I have been a customer for about 2 years. They are consistent & skilled in tailoring. I’ve brought my husband’s suits, bridesmaid dresses, and work clothes here for alterations & everything has turned out great.
I did try another tailor that was closer to my house last year– they charged me more and didn’t even do what I wanted (taking in sides of a button up shirt!). After that, I’ll stick with Perfect Fit.

Only been here one time to get a suit coat tailored. Prompt turn around, I was even able to call a day early and my coat was ready to be picked up. Seemed a little pricey to me, but so far the quality seems worth it

Worst business EVER!!! They did not finish my item by the day promised (i even came a day late to pick up). And refused to refund me!!! The older lady is rude and a total scam artist. I hate this business!
Becky Makris has a wonderful sewing studio downtown on the square (above Subway). I have had great service and superb results from her. And she is not in the gross mall. I should have never strayed.

I had an expensive business suit skirt that was previously shortened by a different taylor. The hem puckered because they simply used machine to hem it. I brought it to Perfect FIt alterations to see if they can do anything about it. The lady (I dont know her name) finished the hem by hand, as it should have been done in first place on such a fine fabric. She did a beautiful job. I wiould trust her with any alteration.

Great prices, quick service. I’ve gotten serval things altered here: jackets, pants, etc. All were done well and quickly.

I am excited to be posting the first review on Unilocal for Perfect Fit Alterations. I have nothing but positive things to say about this establishment and Lana’s work in particular. I have been to several tailors in Bloomington and Perfect Fit is by far the best experience I’ve had. Excellent craftsmanship, very professional and friendly service, prompt turnaround, great prices, and convenient business (mall) hours. (Unlike some other tailors in town, they’re actually open and answer the phone during posted business hours!)
I had only discovered Lana this past summer when I had a last minute, fairly complex and involved alteration job for my wedding gown, and other tailors in town were either incompetent or closed for an extended period of time or demanded unreasonable rush fees. I was a little nervous entrusting my precious gown to someone I had never been to before, but as soon as Lana got her pins out and started figuring out how to go about altering the dress, I somehow knew I was in good hands. The woman is a pro. I don’t know if she worked magic, but she got my gown to sit in a way that other tailors said simply wasn’t possible. The gown really was a «perfect fit» — and I mean PERFECT — and I couldn’t have been more happy or relieved to have found her. What is more, she charged significantly less than another local tailor who would have almost certainly done a terrible job on my dress, and she also didn’t charge any rush fees. My only regret is that I hadn’t discovered this place sooner and that I wasted time and money on other highly inferior tailors. This tailor is getting all of my business from now on.
