Formerly known as «Organic Skincare & Wellness», Lotus Organics Day Spa & Wellness specializes in natural and organic treatments such as massage therapy, facials, body treatments, and waxing hair removal. Treat yourself to an overall wellness session by also choosing from alternative healing therapies such as Reiki, Sound Vibrational Tuning Fork Therapy, and Crystal Therapy. Organic and natural retail products are also available. Lotus Organics is individually owned and operated, and designed with the clients’ needs in mind. Everything from service cost to lighting, room temperature, and choice of music is customized to you. Come in, Escape, Indulge, and Relax… because you deserve it!

(PLEASE NOTE: There is currently only one therapist on staff at Lotus Organics Day Spa & Wellness. Therefore appointments are done individually, and group/couple’s sessions are not available at this time.)

History

Established in 2007.

Lotus Organics started out in November of 2007 inside Phoenix Massage Center in Normal, Illinois (then known as «Organic Skincare & Wellness with Lisa M. Roberds»). After the owner of the center moved away, Lisa chose to venture out completely on her own, and moved into a suite at Regency Place Office Suites in Bloomington in March of 2009. Since then, clients have loved the convenient, private, and quiet location with its Zen-​like ambiance.

Business Owner

Lisa M. Roberds is the operator and solo therapist of Lotus Organics Day Spa & Wellness. Lisa previously worked in the corporate world, trying to put her Bachelor’s Degree in English to good use. It wasn’t long, though, before she realized her true passion, and became a licensed esthetician in 2007. Lisa later obtained certifications in Sound Vibrational Tuning Fork Therapy as well as Reiki, training all the way up to the Master-​Teacher Level. She has since also added training in Crystal Therapy, and became licensed and nationally certified in Massage Therapy. Growing up in the Bloomington/​Normal area, Lisa felt it was important to bring something new to the area via a truly organic skincare facility with various options of wellness services. Skin, body, and soul education and relaxation are Lisa’s main priorities and she tries to treat every client with the royal attention and pampering that they deserve.
