History

Established in 2011.

Katy Lengacher began working under the name Icarus Photography in 2011 and has immensely enjoyed her four years of providing custom, quality wedding, lifestyle and editorial photography to Bloomington and its surrounding areas.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Hi there! I’m Katy, and I’m the sole photographer behind Icarus Photography. I provide custom wedding, portrait and lifestyle photography to Bloomington and south-​central Indiana with both in-​studio and on-​location photographic services.

I graduated from Indiana University in 2010 with a BA in Journalism, specializing in photojournalism, and with minors in Studio Art and Art History. I also completed an intensive photography program in Paris, France, during my time at IU.

Art makes my heart happy, and photography is my passion and creative outlet of choice. I truly love my job!
