The Dog House is absolutely the best boarding facility in Bloomington. We’ve taken our pup for daycare and boarding, and every time we go they greet him by name (even if it’s been months)! We always have a tired, happy pooch after a trip to the dog house. I only wish they’d open another facility on the East side of town!

I’ve been a customer since shortly after they opened and my dog loves it here. He gets to interact with other dogs have plenty of outside time and most importantly not confined to a cage.
Jim & Beth are very nice and welcoming and as they’ve grown over the years, hired others who are very helpful and great with the dog. They get plenty of attention and my dog usually comes home and sleeps the entire day after we pick him up.

Absolutely the best place in town for daycare and boarding, hands down. My dog is quite a mama’s boy, and I wouldn’t dream of boarding him anywhere else. I felt so much better knowing that he was sleeping in a bed with a human, not stuck in a kennel on a cold cement floor.
The only drawback is that it’s so popular it’s hard to get a reservation. But I know they’re working on expanding so hopefully that will help. Fantastic business in every way!

My dog loves the Dog House! I try to take him at least once a month. I would likely take him more often if they weren’t full so often and it wasn’t so far out of town. My dog is unbelievably tired and unbelievably happy after a day at the Dog House. Prices are pretty affordable for daycare too.

The Dog House raised their boarding rates to $ 22 a day. Still totally worth it. Daycare remains $ 12/​day.

I can’t speak more highly of The Dog House. It’s evident that Beth, Jim, and their staff truly care about the health and well-​being of their canine clientele, and are always wonderfully accommodating. The Dog House is the only place I feel comfortable boarding my dog, as there are staff on-​site 24⁄7. The best thing about this place is the fact that it’s cage-​free boarding, so your dogs can feel right at home– lounging and socializing with other dogs. What a wonderful concept! I’m so grateful that The Dog House exists in town– and I know my dog is, too!

The Dog House is cage free boarding and doggy daycare. The dogs get to run around and play with other dogs all day, both indoors and outside. Then they get so warn out that they come in to sleep at night. They can have separate rooms for big and small dogs, too.
The owners, Jim and Beth, are so nice, and they live on site, so there is human supervision 24⁄7.
This place is great if your dog likes other dogs. New dogs are pre-​screened — they have to attend 1 day of day care to make sure they aren’t aggressive before they can stay for boarding. All dogs are required to show proof of shots, as well.
They are doing so well that I’m not sure if they are accepting new business right now, but might be expanding soon.

Our dog Marshal goes to day care every Wed and has the best time. The staff is awesome and recognizes us immediately and knows who we are there to pick up. Everyone working there seems to be real «dog people.» We are very grateful for this business and so happy to be a client.
