Comcast Service Center

I have wished for the possibility of giving 0 stars to certain restaurants or companies but never yearned give negative stars to any business. That’s because although there are many businesses with serious competence issues and bad management, very few try to make money out of the misery they inflict on their customers. Comcast is THE exception. Stay away, no matter what.

Tried to sign up from the phone. Those idiots lost the account information twice, couldn’t find the confirmation number they gave earlier. Asked for a supervisor, got put on hold, no one answered.

I have actually never had an issue with comcast. I started service with them in southern Indiana to northern Indiana then to south Utah and then north Utah I have had them for over 5 years now and I have never had an issue. I guess my situation is a rare one

Awww Comcast is terrible? Why don’t you try switching to another company? What, there is no other cable company? That’s too bad (proceeds to rub nipples).

If there is a worse company in America than Comcast, I have yet to see it.
I have had to contact the BBB multiple times over their business practices. The only good thing I can say is that some issues have been addressed.
In the past, when I went to shut off service, they said they couldn’t shut it off for a week. Now they did it immediately.
After I raised a stink, they finally updated their online pricing to honest pricing. However, their pricing and packages are still deceptive.
As of today I’m an AT&T U-​verse customer and I plan to stay that way.

Comcast is the worst. Terrible service — our internet connection repeatedly goes out every day. When you call their 800 number, you’re on hold forever, they hang up on you, they try to solve the problem and never do. The worst. It’s just the kind of service one can expect from a business that’s cornered the marketplace.

Comcast is horrible, but they have people over a barrel. We’ve had lots of problems, so many problems with our cable, on demand, and so on that we ‘cut the cord’. Then we realized the bloodsucking jerks had been ‘renting’ us their crummy cable modem. That’s on us, but come on, man!
As for service — forget it. You’ll be lucky to get somebody to come out in a week. Prepare for your whole work day to be blown. Occasionally they will fix it.
Internet service in America is a sorry thing and it boils down to lack of competition.
Comcast and other big providers use all kinds of shady tactics to discredit and shut down community initiatives.
My coworker from The Netherlands laughs at the sorry state of Internet service here. For now we’re screwed. I don’t speak Dutch.

Comcast is terrible. They are the only ones who provide for my apartment building and we have had nothing but trouble. We went with broken internet for nearly a month and were only compensated for 17 of those days because whoever worked with us first didn’t even input what our problem was! They also sent the wrong cables for our tv home with us and refused to send new ones. They basically said I had to go get them myself and even though they were suppose to provide the cables they weren’t going to. As soon as we move, we are switching away from comcast!

The worst. Everyone hates Comcast, and no one knows why they are still in business, especially now that ATT Uverse is in Bloomington.
Go for ATT and save yourself time, money, headaches, etc. Comcast is the worst.
I even had to go to the Better Business Bureau on Comcast. Their response? «We don’t care about our rating with the BBB.» That’s the excellent customer service that we’ve all come to expect from Comcast (sentence dripping with sarcasm)

What to say about this without boiling with rage. Impossible task so here goes anyway.
Here’s our story.
My wife and I recently purchased a new home and unfortunately decided to go with Comcast. They took TWO WEEKS just to make sure they «could install» the internet then took another week to get someone to come out and install the internet. Wait, no the technician could not do anything because there were no cables in the ground. Perfect!
We went the their office and submitted yet another request to put in the lines and once again another week passes without hearing back from lovely Comcast crowd until we went back to talk to them. They told us and I quote, «The construction company cannot put in the cables because it is too expensive».
I think to myself what type of a business model does this «construction company» have that they REFUSE to do work even when someone pays them. Well that is just Comcast trying to put the blame one someone else. You see If you tell someone to do something and they are paid for doing those services they don’t care what the price is, that’s exactly how anyone makes money, doing work.
After Comcast tried to blame the construction company we made it clear that they have wasted a month of our time and it was their responsibility to do whatever it took to install cable just as they had said they would. Needless to say we still don’t have internet and Comcast is blaming everyone else for not being able to do their job. Poor Comcast they WANT to install the internet but EVERYONE ELSE won’t let them.
When we went to see the lovely Comcast crowd once more, this time the managers blamed the technicians for not doing their job.
Hey guys if you read this your bosses are blaming you for not doing your job. It’s ok I know better though.
No sense of responsibility or taking ownership of their mistakes and unprofessional behavior.
Simply pathetic.
We requested ATT to put in their own lines. Will go with ATT even after Comcast installs their cables.
