I wish I could give these guys NEGATIVE stars. I spoke with Richard about a leaking pipe in my crawlspace. He came out and told me how terrible the leak was and said it would cost me 4,000−6,000 to fix. THEN charged me $ 167.50 FOR AN ESTIMATE!!! I should have known right then to stay away from this company. I ended up having Hardesty Plumbing come out from Leroy and he found the leak, fixed it for less than $ 200!!! Beware this company is a joke.

D & R Plumbing completed work in my home, business and rental home. They have always done an excellent job and I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend them to anyone that has an issue with their plumbing, heating or air conditioning. I will continue to use them every time something comes up.

Very disappointed! I have used these guys in the past and I always felt that they were a little high but didn’t have many other informed options. Last week I had a clogged kitchen sink, called them after waiting all day, they finally arrived. Two guys show up, they were here for 45 minutes, and charged me $ 245! Really?

THIS time D@R did a courteous and efficient service for us. He discovered our problem and replaced and repaired the sump pump quickly and efficiently. His customer service was exceptional and we will call them again. Thank you D@R!

Cost $ 1400 to replace my 40 gal natural gas water heater. Could have bought one for $ 400 at the hardware store, which means that it was $ 1000 for labor. They put the old one out by the front door, but not at the curb nor did they take it with them leaving me and my husband to clean up the mess. They didn’t air out the lines nor did they show me the new setup, both of which they said they would do when they were completed. All in all, not worth it.

I wrote a review a short time ago about the D&R Plumbing and I was mainly concerned about the charge for the type of service. One of the owners contacted me and made it right. I feel he was very fair about this and we came to an amicable agreement on price. I did not ever have a problem with the service or the professionalism of the personnel that came out. It was about the price. D&R made it right and I appreciate the fact that they took the time to respond to a review and correct the issue. Thanks D&R for responding.

We called them out for a leaky water heater a few months back, since we had their magnet on our fridge. They came out, acted professionally, and quoted us a figure over $ 2,200 for the replacement, requesting payment up front. I thought it was expensive, but they explained it was a «power vent» unit and therefore very hard to work with. Not knowing better, we agreed.
I complained about the expense on Facebook, and a few of my friends said (basically) «bwuh? how does it cost that much?!» So I did some digging and saw the reviews here.
So I called over to a different, local, well-​reviewed company, who quoted me $ 1285 for a power vent water heater, installed.
So right away, I called D&R to cancel. They were pleasant to work with, and they refunded our advance payment without argument, less a $ 150 estimate fee. That professionalism earns them 2 stars in my book, though I could not in good conscience recommend them to friends or family for plumbing work because of their prices.
We’ve also had good experiences with them before, for electrical work, and we may call them for that in the future. When it comes down to it, though, there’s other companies in town who will do just as good a job for two-​thirds or less the price.

I am very sorry I didn’t read the reviews first. I have a basement drain that backs up. They under bid and overcharged. When i called to complain the next day they said if they use the big machine they need to have two guys run it. But there was only one running the machine. What ever they did only helped for a shirt time. I will never use them again.

great service and very fair prices! They are quick and have flexible hours for working people. They explain what is happening in terms that the average person can understand.
