Bent

I’ve never had my hair treated with such care before by Reeve. Even after he had washed my hair and and put a little product in, he clipped the last couple hairs to make sure it was perfect and saved from the awful hair cuts I had been getting up north at home over the summer. To me, no where else to go in Bloomington!

This place is 0 for 2. The first time, they gave me a completely different haircut than I asked for. I even brought in pictures of what I wanted and showed them to the stylist, but he just did his own thing. Today I called to confirm an appointment I had made on their website and was told that I had no appointment. When I asked what we could do about it they said «you could not come in today.» So I won’t, today or any other day.

Bent is great. Very comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff. Peter Shaw cuts my hair and he’s very personable as well as professional. He makes sure I get the exact cut I want, takes his time, does it right. I won’t go anywhere else.

Don’t go anywhere else! Bent is clean, welcoming, hip even. They cater to young men and have positioned themselves perfectly. From the giant TV and comfortable couch in the tasting area to their friendly and approachable staff, this place succeeds on all fronts. Most importantly, their barbers are very skilled.
I’ve been going to JC for a few months now, and I won’t go to anyone else while I live in Bloomington. End of discussion. His technique and skill is superior to most, if not all, the barbers I have frequented in LA, SF and NYC. If you need a trim, or are looking for a new style, give JC a call.

Got a fantastic hair cut for my wedding from here. The barber was incredibly attentive to detail, focusing on quality in a way I’ve not experienced before. He washed the hair two separate times, so that he could do some cutting with one product in before doing a final cleanup and putting the product I’ll use at my wedding. At every stage he verified I liked how it was going. The atmosphere was very chill and trendy inside, with a nice couch and TV, as well as very clean and well maintained facilities.
I’d very highly recommend Bent if you want a quality cut.

Bent is an amazing salon. Specializing in men’s style, it’s always so fun to come here and get special treatment. Guys, it’s ok to set down the rugged lifestyle we lead and feel pampered every now and then.
Staffed with some of the most talented stylists I’ve met to date, Bent will take care of you. Immediately greeted at the door with a cozy waiting area and a refreshment. You will be able to catch up on you favorite sports teams scores as ESPN is always on. But the incessant chatter of the sports broadcasters is muted and the latest jams are played through a great sound system.
Come to Bent. I can guarantee you will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and looking good for your significant other or soon to be special person.
It’s a great excuse to take a time out from the busy lives we all lead. Sit back, close your eyes, share your life with your stylist and I’m sure you’ll leave feeling invigorated and ready to finish out the rest of the work day. And you’ll look good too.
Bent gets an A+ in my book. I’ll come here to get a haircut from now on.

I am totally disappointed.
Even though I showed my picture and video of when I cut my hair last time,
The clerk did not pay attention to them at all.
Of course, I claimed to modify many times, but she could not.
As a result, my hair was totally different from I expected.
It was my fault to trust the quality of this shop from the pictures in its homepage.
