I have a Norelco shaver that is about 12 years old and I still have a few years that I could use it since I bought 3 sets of replacement metal screens off eBay a while back(Norelco no longer makes replacement screens for my shaver). The only problem is that the battery was no longer holding a good charge. Amazon sells a replacement battery that requires some soldering to install, or a few places online quoted about $ 40 to replace the battery. Norelco quoted $ 50 if I mailed the shaver to them. I looked to the Batteries Plus website and saw they do shaver battery replacements at the«Tech Shop» in some of their stores. The young man at this location said it would be no problem to replace the battery in my shaver. Only 2 hours and $ 20 later, it was done. No shipping the shaver somewhere, no paying 2x the cost. Batteries Plus got it done quickly and was affordable.
