Dr. Pitcher is wonderful – young, energetic, and immediately gains your confidence. He actually listens and adjusts his treatment according to his expertise and your experiences. He was great with my pregnancy too.
The office also gave one of the best and clearest explanations of how my insurance would work to cover treatment (or not), which is so rare and so utterly needed!
The staff is friendly and you can tell they like working with each other.

Dr Fox is the BEST! After years of neck pain I am totally Pain FREE!
One morning I woke up in tears, could not turn my head without crying, and didn’t know what I had done to cause this. My daughter recommended I go to Dr Fox and see if he could help. She had gone to him a few months earlier due to extreme lower back issues and he was able to help her get back on her feet in just a few weeks.
When I called his office, everyone was so nice and understanding and told me to come right in. After X-​rays, Dr Fox found a herniated disk, degenerated disks and a bone spur. I appreciated his carefulness in making sure he didn’t touch my neck before he knew what he was dealing with. In our consultation and review of what he had found, he told me he could «fix» my problem. This made me a little skeptical since I had the same issue in my lower back which resulted in spinal fusion surgery 8 years ago. But, I was in so much pain I was willing to give anything a try. Within 2 weeks I could turn my head with minimal pain and after 2 months of treatments — I am totally PAIN FREE!!!
In addition to this, I had been on blood pressure medication which started prior to my spinal fusion surgery. My regular Dr’s explained to me that blood pressure can rise due to extreme pain. I had been on blood pressure medication for 7 years. I opted to stop the medication a year ago and my blood pressure was still running high. 2 weeks ago I went to my regular MD for my annual checkup and my blood pressure was back to my normal ¹⁰²⁄₆₈! No change in diet, exercise or any medication, only chiropractic care by Dr Fox. Such a nice added bonus!
I don’t have insurance, and it has been a little bit costly, but it has been worth every penny spent to finally be free of pain and to have normal blood pressure again ~ I wish I had found Dr Fox before I underwent spinal fusion surgery 8 years ago!!!

Upon making my first appointment I used a promotion they had going on entailing a free consultation. I was excited to get the neck pain I have had for years taken care of. When I arrived for my appointment I told the front desk that I was not going to be using my insurance for this visit because I have a very large co pay and would rather pay out of pocket. Upon hearing this they insisted I use my insurance and pressured me into giving them my card. I did so and this caused a huge hiccup at the end of the appointment. After the free consultation (which I got charged for) the doctor insisted I get x Rays. I told him I did not have the money for x Rays. Reluctantly he decided to move me on with treatment. He did not adjust me or anything!!! He hooked me up to the electric machine thing that did NOTHING for my back/​neck. They finally were going to let me leave and here is where it gets confusing. They were still trying to go off my insurance and finally when it seemed I got it across I wasn’t using insurance they didn’t even know what to charge me. So they decided they would go to the chiro and see how much he said to charge. Finally after 10 minutes they figured out how much to charge me. 65 $ for my visit WITH THE DISCOUNT. I left feeling broke and used. They did not fix anything on my entire body. So I thought everything was fine and over with when I get a bill in the mail from my insurance company showing they covered some of the visit. So already I am upset because I told them I DID NOT want to use insurance literally 6 – 7 times. So I give the chiropractor a call to see what is up since I got the bill from my insurance. They decided to tell me I owe them more money! This was 3 months ago that I went and they are now telling me I am going to be getting another bill in the mail from them I will have to pay. This is terrible!

Dr. Fox is very nice, and very experienced. After seeing him for a few times, my neck/​shoulder and lower back pains have subsided quite a bit. Highly recommended.

I have been dealing with extreme pain in my heels since I joined the Marine Corps in 2000. After all the hiking, marching and physical training I thought I would have to deal with the pain for the rest of my life. I have used every heel and foot cushion you can think of and nothing helped. I first went to Dr. Fox for my back. I was told long ago that my spine was curved from a previous chiropractor in San Diego. When I got to Dr. Fox’s office and we took X-​rays I once again saw the curve. It has been that way for so long I just knew it wasn’t going to be a quick fix. I unerstand that it takes time to get your spine back into shape. Not only has Dr. Fox’s office done that, they also fixed the even worse pain in my feet. I did not know at the time that they can also fix the extremeties, and once I found out they began immediately working on them. I have not felt the pain in my heels or in my feet at all since Dr. Caruso started adjusting them. Ater the first few adjustments the pain immediately subsided and has not returned. Not only did they straigten my back, but they also got me back on my feet! Thank you so much guys. And by the way my insurance covered the x-​ray up to 20 visits. I only had to pay the normal co-​pay of $ 20. Not to bad for putting up with the pain for over 10 years now. I thought I would have to get surgery to ever get them feeling this good again. It just takes one look at his website to see what a money-​hungry mogrel this doctor is. My experience began when my back went out and I had a coupon so I went to him. It said free consultation but it was not so free when he took a bunch of x-​rays and a bunch of other stuff. When my insurance would not cover it, he decided to put me on a «wellness plan» coming in twice a week. Basically this consisted of making it feel well enough that I thought it was working but not good enough to cure me. I had to cease treatment for summer break in which my back got so bad it went out when I bent down to pet a cat. Upon going to a chiropractor in pittsboro, I realized how bad Dr. Fox really was! Dr. Starnes saw me a handful of times in which he completely got rid of my pain. I have not been back to a chiropractor since and I am now pain free. If you want a biweekly experience that only kind-​of helps and you wanna dish out a bunch of money for the rest of your life, than this is the place for you! If you wanna get rid of your back pain and meet a really great chiropractor who actually cares, I sugget you look up Dr. Starnes and make the 60 minute drive to pittsboro a handful of times and be done with chiropractors forever!!!
