Roebling Road is a no-frills raceway. I have been there several times to support the other half in his racing endeavors. The first times for SCCA activities for autocross just watching racing and the last time for a driver school for Formula 600 open wheel racing(his category, there were other categories, the Miatas, and various others) which was very cool to watch. Roebling Road is not easily accessible to the general public. You wouldn’t just know about it like Atlanta Motor Speedway riding by it on a major road. The Bloomingdale/Pooler area is small and sleepy and you wouldn’t know about Roebling Road unless you had directions because it is tucked away in a residential area. The facilities are well maintained. A lot of participants camp at Roebling Road, so the bathroom facilities do have showers and both are very clean. The food and beverage shacks are cash only. There is not a typical grandstands area where people can sit, so you will have to find a spot around the track that is safe with a good vantage point. The track is very well maintained, but there are a lot of areas with gravel and dirt that the drivers did not tend to like. The track is fast and curvy and its length is 2.2 miles. I think Roebbling Road is a track that everyone involved can have a lot of fun!

I am a newly formed fan of Roebling Raceway. I would like to give it 5 stars, but it is hard to say that it is the best of the best for me, as this is really the first racetrack that I have ever participated on. I have been to tracks before, but purely as a spectator. That is impossible at this track, unless you are part of a race team. There are no bleachers or anything like that. The track itself, was a fun, pretty basic road course, that had some very challenging parts. The track was very smooth and very clean. It was very easy to get in and out of, and lots of space for drivers and their cars in the infield. It had a great, super fast long straight away, for you to open up on, and several tight turns to appease to any type of car or driver. The concession stand could be open a bit long, and perhaps a bit earlier, but other than that, I had a blast and can’t wait to go again.

Roebling Road in a few keywords: fast, slick, private and tons of fun! My review will target mostly motorcycle experience since I went there for a track day on my R6. My first impression of the track was one that is well organized and convenient for racers. You access it from small back roads, and most importantly: it is NOT opened to public. The reason for that is just for safety: it would take a considerable amount of money to modify the access and arrange bleachers and such around the track for general public to attend. Fire Marshall says no general admission: I say good for us racers :) Not that I mind people watching around, but I have to say this very fact gives a very special atmosphere to the experience. You are among racers, all of whom know and have safety in mind plus are here to have a good time. The facilities inside the track are pretty well organized. Cash only, but you have a couple of vending machines at the pit, a few gas pumps with higher octane gasoline, shaded pit area with a compressor to check your tires and a few work benches. Inside the«paddocks» you have a big lunch break area where they sell your usual burger with fries, snack bars, energy drinks and such for cash. They are usually opened on track days and on race days. Restrooms were nice and clean, with a couple of showers with hot water(not always the case!). As mentioned in a previous review, there are quite a few spots to plug your electrical equipment, and you can even camp on the track overnight from what I’ve heard. I was not about to do that in February(freaking cold on that President’s day I’m telling ya!!). The track itself is very clean with fairly new asphalt which as mentioned before as well is not too hard on the tires. It is a fast track overall, with easy curves, mostly right handed. The overall length is 2.2 miles I believe and the long straightaway guarantees some great opportunity for speed. First turn is tricky at first since it’s a double apex turn, but once you’ve figured where to bring up your bike to be where you want at the second apex, it’s a no brainer. Last turn is hell of a fun turn as well, seemingly lasting forever as you lean inside lurking for the straightaway to come. If I remember well, the current lap record is 1min 10 s and 430 ms, owned by a guy who rode a 600cc ;) You go for it 1000cc owners! My experience was a very good one on that track, especially since I had the pleasure to ride with Dave Despain. Yup, the one and only from WindTunnel program on SPEEDTV ;) Bottom line: go burn the rubber on that track, you won’t regret it!

Ok, so I just recently stepped foot on Roebling’s straight-a-way and I couldn’t wait to review it. This place is a lot different than most of the other tracks in the SE. The location is just outside of a neighborhood and in a very private suburb of Savannah. The track is narrower than say, a Barber of Road Atlanta, but wide enough. The surface is actually very nice and not too bad on tires, but can get slick on the edges due to the sand in the area. The front straight is super fast and turn 1 takes some serious getting use to before you really learn how fast you can actually tip in. The grounds are very well laid out and well kept. Their’s power all over the place so generators aren’t really necessary. You have to pit in the sandy grass so be sure to bring a rug and some chairs when you come. I love the track and cannot wait to race on it again.
