Meet the Manager

Manager

Oscar Bond began his career as an industry educator over 25 years ago at the esteemed Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. Nominated Hairdresser of the Year by Japan’s Shinbiyo magazine, Oscar’s mastery of the craft and gift for teaching have taken him all over the world.

In 1999, Oscar and his wife Wendy opened the Oscar Bond Salon in Manhattan’s famed SoHo neighborhood. Voted one of New York City’s Top Ten Salons by Salon News, the salon has been featured on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Teen Vogue, Color & Style Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.

Oscar’s unfailing adaptability to the world’s ever-​changing style has made him a hair industry icon. His styling creations have been featured in such celebrated magazines as InStyle, Mademoiselle, Jane, Marie Clare, Self, GQ, Details, YM, Soho Style, Time Out and Vogue. His work has also been seen on ABC’s The View and MTV’s Making The Band.

As Creative Director for L’ANZA, Oscar maintains the philosophy and practice of responsible a
