Heavenly Flavors Ice Cream

I love the unique flavors that you can’t find anywhere else. The service is always friendly. I like that the owner is there all the time. He takes pride in his place. Keeping it clean, offering specials and new flavors all the time.
It’s a new favorite of mine. I have sent many people there. I’m so glad they opened in my town!

Love Love Love this place. I live in walking distance and have been going here ever since it opened. Very Clean, Very Courteous Staff from Day one! And OMG all the different options, and the ice cream taste way better than, shall I say? well, Carvel. It is dangerous but just like one of the other reviews I read, I wont feel so guilty if we walk to get it and then walk back home. So many great small business in Bloomfield and this is definitely one of them

Having this place in walking distance from my job is dangerous, haha. At least if I walk I don’t feel too guilty about stopping in. It’s a nice little place, spotless and not cluttered. I appreciate that.
Washington St has gone through some tough times with construction and redevelopment, and it’s nice to see that businesses are starting to flourish. Heavenly flavors is a great treat to have right near so many good restaurants.
I am a chocolate and coffee kind of person, so the cappuccino chip is my favorite. My daughter loves chocolate chip mint. Now that the nicer weather is here I’m looking forward to more of the premium flavors from Hershey’s — which aren’t the same as the supermarket items at all. No, this is good old-​fashioned ice cream. They are very good about telling you which flavors are gluten-​free (a necessity for a coworker of mine) and they will always let you try a taste.
Try it, you’ll like it (who the heck doesn’t like ice cream?) and enjoy.

I was in Bloomfield NJ recently and I took the opportunity to visit my very favorite ice cream shop in NJ, Heavenly Flavors. They feature Hershey’s Ice Cream and the have all my favorite flavors including pineapple. It’s rich, creamy and totally decadent. I was helped in selecting my choice by the Chief Ice Cream Officer and Proprietor, Angel Charon. The store is brand new and spanking clean too. Great vibe combined with great ice cream treats make for a 5 Star experience. I’ll be back again and again and again.

Very nice, bright, new ice cream shop that has opened in Bloomfield Center. The family enjoyed their ice cream immensely. I’ve never seen the youngest eat a cone so fast. The oldest said «Mom! It’s better than Carvel! And they have pineapple!!» I enjoyed my butter almond cone and wished we lived closer because once it was done I wish I had of gotten a pint or quart to go, to have at home. The prices are very reasonable and we are looking forward to returning!

Hand dipped Hershey’s Premium Ice Cream; Coconut, Pineapple and Moose Tracks to name some of the flavors. It’s a work in progress, they’ve only opened seven weeks ago, located down the street from NJT Bloomfield train station.

I was thrilled to see that they had pineapple ice cream– my all time Holstens favorite that was discontinued years ago. But after about 5 minutes of zero acknowledgement of my presence (and the place was empty) I left without buying anything. As others have noted, there is no place to sit. Until the new development is up and running, this place is not much of a destination. Downtown Bloomfield is still pretty sketchy. But then — who knows? Let’s hope for the best.

Very clean in what’s sure to be an up and coming area. Quality ice cream and Italian ice. Staff was nice and speedy. A few things to improve upon would definitely put a few tables and chairs inside, as well as brighten the place up a bit. It looked closed when I walked by. But if they can have it up to par by the time the luxury apartments across the street open, they’ll put carvel out of business.

This place has passably okay ice cream, but no where near quality, and it’s about the same as buying a $ 3 tub at the grocery store. There are MUCH better locations in Bloomfield and areas that have good homemade ice cream. Almost all the reviewers on this page only have 1 – 2 reviews and give 5 stars solely because they are friends or accounts created by the manager. Real reviewers would have more reviews. I’m frankly turned off by a business that runs scam tactics like this so please consider that before giving this place any business because they aren’t worth the money.
I actually tried to come during business hours and they were closed and when I messaged the business about it and they said they were «remodelling» and of course having tried to come I can see through glass and see there was no work being done and after you can see nothing is different. I mean they could have come up with a decent lie. I know small businesses close unexpectedly, but they still lied. I guess «It was a slow night and we didn’t want to bother staying open» doesn’t sound as good but it really makes the business look sketchy.
