History

Established in 1976.

The owner of Page Honda of Bloomfield has been in the Import car business for over 40 years. Honda is the latest addition to the Page Automotive family. Many of the familiar faces from Anderson and Penske are still here. We look forward to meeting and exceeding the needs of everyone who has serviced cars here in the past, as well as those continuing to do so today. We are equipped to handle all your automotive needs. Alvaro Acevedo is our sales manager. He grew up working in the automotive industry in PR. He’s immensely knowledgeable about all things cars. To say his specialty is just Honda’s would be inaccurate, He’s a lover of all things automotive and a valuable asset to the business. Perhaps English is your second language and Spanish your first? Well we have got great News! Alvaro is completely fluent in Spanish! Always in and out with the express oil change. Customer service is very nice and the mechanics will take the time to explain the problem.

I too miss Honda Bloomfield. I purchased a 2013 Accord that had premature wear on the driver’s seat (leather). The seat was replaced and the odometer only had a couple of thousand miles on it. 1 ½ years later (14 000) — the same wear appeared and I pointed it out on an oil change. I won’t name the write up guy but he tells me that is normal and even Corvettes have that type of wear. I had Honda Care and definitely did not expect an answer like that. He said Honda Care does not cover normal wear. We had an S-2000(with leather) and a Pilot with leather for 9 years and that type of wear did not appear until year 8 or 9. With that type of attitude — I traded the car for a Honda CRV at another Honda dealership closer to home. If their service department ends up with the same attitude– I will definitely be finished with Honda next trade in.

I’ve been going to this dealership for years. This is my first new car ever, and I want to keep running forever. When it was Honda of Bloomfield (or Bloomfield Honda, I’m not sure what it was actually called), it was outstanding. The service people knew me when I came in, they were fairly prompt and they offered free hot beverages all the time and pastries if you were lucky enough to get there in the morning. And, at the check out, they offered king sized candy bars & snacks. It was a very nice touch. I was always happy with them back then, and I didn’t mind going to the dealership even if it cost a little more (although it hasn’t always) because I knew that the parts were the proper ones for the car.
However, since the Page group took it over, there’s been a noticeable change — and not for the better. Some of the staff I used to see is gone, they’re noticeably slower, and the ambiance just isn’t the same. It took an hour for them to change my oil. That is all I had done. And, they seem to try much harder to upsell now. They still give a free car wash, but it’s a half-assed job. My windshield wasn’t even clean! I don’t expect a top-notch job for free, but I also shouldn’t be able to see the differentiation line from where the wipers cleaned. I did have a coupon for the $ 19.99 oil change, and I did refuse all of their other recommendations, so I suppose that could be why. But still, that is not the way to keep customers.

This dealership went above and beyond the call of duty to sell me my new car. They worked a great deal on my trade in and spent a great deal of time with me exploring options with regard to the purchase of the vehicle. Do note that when you go in there, be prepared to haggle well. Their first offer is definitely not their best but I give kudos to the sales people for getting me everything that I wanted at a price that beat every other dealership in the Metro Detroit area.

Needed oil change and door lock recall attended to. Was told before dropping car off it would be a 3 hour job. Dropped car off before 9am. Called at 12:15pm. Was told 45 minutes. Showed up to get car at 2pm. It’s now almost 3pm and my car is STILL not ready. I am FUMING MAD!!! I will NEVER use this dealership again. Absolutely INCOMPETENT!!! Now, can’t post this without leaving a rating and negative stars is not an option. WTH?!?

I can’t begin to express my disappointment. We bought a Honda as they are supposed to last forever. 50,000 miles and now need a new torque converter, which took two visits to service before diagnosed. Poor communication with Service Manager saying one day job. Called next day for status, «sorry, this is a two day job». Then they broke a bolt, added a 3^rd day to repair. Picked up after repair, drove 2 days and called to say it smells like it’s over heating. Honda says «No worries, this is normal». Drove another day and find transmission fluid on on garage floor. My husband checked under hood and transmission/radiator? fluid everywhere and looked to see a hose appeared to have no cap. We left message on Sunday that we would bring in at 7am upon dealership opening and to have rental ready so he could go to work. An hour 20 minutes later, my husband finally got the rental. Honda said «worker was late» to drive me to get car. You should not make your customer wait on a late employee. I would phantom someone at dealer had a license to take him to work. I am hoping this did not do any further damage to our vehicle. This is just a brief summary, there were many other miscommunications and disappointments. #regrettingbuyingahonda

The Page Honda Service Department is amazing! The Service Manager, Jason McCabe, is probably the most honest and straightforward person I have ever worked with at a dealership. No beating around the bush and will go the extra mile to make things right. I have not had any experiences with the other departments but I would definitely recommend the service department.
