Mr. Kowalkowski received his law degree from the Wayne State University Law School. During that time, he served as an intern with Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Gene Schnelz and worked as a law clerk for an Oakland County criminal defense firm.

After graduation Mr. Kowalkowski joined one of the busiest criminal defense law firms in metro Detroit. There he zealously defended Michigan defendants in almost every court in the State. In his five years at the firm Mr. Kowalkowski gained immeasurable courtroom experience.

Mr. Kowalkowski has continued to hone his trial skills after law school graduating from the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan Trial Lawyer’s College in 2008. He has been certified in the use of the BAC Tracker Software, allowing him to perform complex calculations for his clients. He has also received intensive trial practice training from Dr. Paul Homoly.
