I leave a message for HOAD and get a response to stop by since my requests needed to be seen in person. Herb is runs HOAD helped me with my request on one of my wheels right on the spot. The guy is definitely a huge helper and I’m very pleased with that. I will be back when I need some work done on the exterior.

«I was very impressed with Hands On Auto Detailing. They did a wonderful job cleaning my car and got all the stains and pet hair out of my seats. I travel a lot and with two dogs so my car is not always the cleanest. I thought the price was fair especially for how dirty my car was. They got my car done in a timely manner and were very professional from start to finish.»

I took my car into Hands On Auto Detailing for the first time today. Herb was the man and did a great job on the car. The car is 6 years old and it is shinier than the day I bought it! I had someone test drive the car after I left as I am selling it and they were shocked by how good it looked for over 100K miles. The interior of my car hadn’t been cleaned in years — Herb and his son made it look better than it ever had! I had a difficult time finding their location but when I called, Herb stayed on the phone with me until I reached them. They were so nice and cleaned every nook and cranny of my interior. Far surpassed my expectations! They even worked with me when I had to take off for work early. Herb let me borrow his car and then brought my car to me at work when they were done. They really went above and beyond! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you need to breathe life back into your driving experience.

1964 red chevy chevelle was wet sanded, wax and buffed by herb. When I took the car there it was very dull. He really brought this car back to life. I would defiantly recommend this detail shop to anyone who needs any type of detailing there defiantly a 5 star place.

Desperately needed car detailed inside and out– as a hospice nurse my car was my office and add a few grandkids and some sickness– well you get the idea
When I pulled up I was welcomed and assured nothing I pointed out was an issue in cleaning the car — great customer service. They are even going to start mobile detailing in about a month!

I was so impressed by my car detail that I had to write my first Unilocal review ever. Herb did an AMAZING job and I highly recommend them to anyone. You can tell they really care about their customers and put time into their work. I went on google before I went and read their reviews. So I already had high expectations. My truck hadn’t been cleaned since I purchased it 4 years ago. We live off a dirt road with kids, dogs and plenty of muddy soccer shoes. The entire truck was filthy inside and out. Herb took the time to clean every nook and cranny, behind every single panel, and the car was better than new when I got it back. The engine was a mess after bouncing up and down the dirt roads and after he got done cleaning it, it wasn’t good enough for him. Herb took the time to go back over the entire engine and dress it up once again. No questions asked, Herb just wanted it to be perfect. I will always bring my vehicles back to Herb as he treated my vehicle like it was his own and every single panel inside and out came out beautifully.

Drop your ride off with the man, the myth, the legend «Herb» at Hands On Auto Detailing and prepare for magic to happen. Your vehicle will enter into a metamorphisis from a heinous, ghastly sight into a pristine vision of glory with a shine that the rapper Shyne would be DJ Envy (us) of. Ok, I’m wack. And white.
I opted for the the $ 220 opticoat package that ensures that my Mustang will look like it was waxed by wizards wearing microfiber robes for the next two years. For you car freaks out there, this means you can just hose off the car without ever taking it to an automatic car wash (hiss hiss which you should never do). Just a heads up, the location is in a hidden batcave and it’s by appointment only. This is money well spent people, absolutely worth the peace of mind and sanity it provides.

I had my new Audi S5 services for polymer coating as well as exterior detailing for ACURA TL 2006 (old but fine car). Herb did great work for both cars and his price was very reasonable considering the quality of his work.
Only cautionary tale is he is very busy and he might need me to be flexible in timing, which was not problem to me.
Overall, great quality, people and price, so three thumbs up.

I can’t recommend Hands-​On Auto Detailing enough!!!
Herb is amazing — incredible work ethic, reliable, and a perfectionist. We brought a tv crew to Detroit to make a car show, and Herb was responsible for making 16 picture cars camera-​ready at all times, and he was a champ. He has a mobile van with all the necessary equipment. I would recommend him to individuals, film/​tv crews, businesses, etc. without reservation!
He’s a pleasure to be around, great communicator and quickly became an essential part of our crew. We couldn’t have done it without him!

My ’01 Lincoln Continental looks the best it’s looked in years! My car was honestly, truly kind of gross before it was detailed. The leather was freshened up, the carpets look great, and even the sticky cup holders filled with years of coffee and diet coke spills look new!
The attention to detail was great. Herb even kindly re-​secured my cruise control button (which is held up by tape). The customer service was excellent and I got my car back very quickly all at a reasonable price. I’ve taken the car to Jax before and Hands on Auto Detailing blows them away.

I’ve read the reviews on Hands On Auto Detailing and I decided to give this place a shot. I must say I was blown away by this man after my TL was washed and cleaned. My car is very low to the ground so going through a auto wash is out of the question. After the wash I could not believe my eyes on how my car looked! He’s definitely won my business and I will be back in the spring to get a full detail inside an out.

Fantastic results from Herb at Hands On Auto Detailing! HOAD came to my office and cleaned the inside and outside of my and a coworker’s car.
Both cars had been through Michigan’s brutal winter of 2013/​14, so there were lots of salt stains and dirt inside. My coworker has a 4 year old, so you can imagine what a mess the inside of that car was!
Herb had to wait for some rain to pass, and then he got to work, taking about 1 hour and 45 minutes to clean each car. When he was done, they looked like brand new cars inside and out.
