This location is soooo slooooow :-0 The bagels and other items at Einstein are great. Really good stuff at a sort-of premium bagel/coffee price. This stop however rarely ever has 2 people working at it and during the AM rush it gets so backed up. It’s not the fault of the people trying to help you. They are doing their best, but man if you stop in at 7 for a bagel and coffee, with 1 or 2 people also waiting, you probably won’t leave until 7:15. That’s just the facts. The managements should really step it up and have more people to help. Nobody has time in the morning on a work day, or any other day for that matter. People like their bagels in the morning so for a place that primarily probably makes most of its money from opening to 11, it should be ready to handle a large crowd until lunch. I don’t go here as often as I’d like because I just don’t have time.

We love Einsteins, but this location is awful. Slow service, not kept clean… Waited almost 15 minutes to order today only to find out they had no lox today. The staff is underwhelming.

This Einstein gets out order right about 30% of the time. Today, April 13th, 645 am, Einsteins ran out of butter. So, I ordered a flagel with mozzarella cheese. I got in my car and left. I went to eat my bagel and it was a bagel with cheddar cheese. I tried to call to tell them. No one answered and eventually it went to a voicemail that was«full.» As my son says, Epic Fail. It’s a chain and they should have standards. Go to Starbucks or any other bagel store.

Would it kill you to make some onion bagels? Every time I go in there, no matter what time of of day, you are out. Finally, today I said, «Do you ever have onion bagels?» The cashier said she would tell«the baker». The baker? Are you joking me? I’m sorry, did I step into a boulangerie in Paris? If you are always out then clearly they are popular and you need to make more. It’s not like I am asking for some rookie french toast flavored bagel. It’s an onion bagel; the king of all bagels. It is also not clean. Simply walking through glass doors makes me want to vomit in my mouth. They look like they haven’t been windex’d in ten years and you can always count on the milk or half and half to be out. Poor management here.

Mondays are $ 6 days. They are ill prepared for having enough bagels on hand to meet the demand. I stopped by at 11 am and was told that there would be a half hour wait for bagels like plain, six cheese, sesame seed, and many more popular bagels. I left without purchasing anything. I returned around 4:30 and again there were only gingerbread and some unknown flavor left. I was told they were closing at 5 so again they did not have bagels to sell. Very disappointing.

This is not so clean compared to other locations. Bagel Schmear residue was schmeared on all the tables, leaving a greasy finger-smudge-like patina everywhere. The employees were nice and professional, and the strawberry lemonade was delish. It has been at least a decade since I have been inside an Einstein Bagels, but I was a little disappointed that my beloved sun dried tomato cream cheese and sun dried tomato bagel were no longer available. No free wi fi was available at this location.

Bad experience always. Out of stuck of bagels, coffee. The manager always angry. The service is bad. Dirty place. I stopped going there because of the bad costumer service. Always always out of stock of the chocolate bagels. Very bad experience at this store

My one-star rating could have easily been much higher if it weren’t for one employee; Laura. After ordering a breakfast sandwich, my son and I made our way over to the ‘pay’ counter. Upon arrival, we met Laura, who appeared to already be in a bad mood, but that’s fine, everyone has bad days. So after she gave me my change, I naturally made my way over to the coffee machine, but was sarcastically interrupted by, «Hey, do you WANT this coffee cup I left for you on the counter?» I’m sure Laura meant to say, «Sir, here’s your coffee cup», but sometimes words come out wrong. Look, I’m no EINSTEIN, but I think the real culprit here is the management, I assume this because I later realized she is new employee. MGMT should be training Laura to filter the words she should and should not use when reminding a customer they left their coffee cup. Hey! I may have left the coffee cup on counter, but I certainly won’t leave my business there too.

I love this company, but am very disappointed with this store. If I owned one of these I would be very upset they were wrecking the reputation of the company. The staff is very rude on multiple occasions. My first time in to this particular store the ovens were down and they had a limited selection. I didn’t see the sign and asked if they were making more, she rudely replied«our ovens broke read the sign!» I dismissed it and left knowing she was very upset about her day. I went on to give them another try this morning and sure enough another terrible experience. I ordered two salmon on bagels meals and went to pay. I noticed they had started making them on cold bagels. I asked the guy to please toast them first. He said«you have to order them toasted» and didn’t want to make them right. The same girl who was rude the first time chimed in and began to argue with me too. The whole store began to watch this rude worker and she made a nice little scene. I’m sure this store will be closing soon. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I like Einstein bagels — they are fresh and tasty — this was not my issue. My problem is the place is disgustingly dirty. Everywhere you look there are crumbs, poppy seeds, smears, streaks. When we pulled up, there were two(albeit empty) dirty garbage cans sitting outside right next to the door(which was busted). Now I am sure that because it was Sunday, they WERE very busy. I’ll even give them that it is probably the busiest day of the week. HOWEVER, we arrived at noon, when they were not busy. There were 4 people working without a line, and there wasn’t one employee with a broom, swifter or spray bottle. I didn’t even want to sit down to eat my bagel. On top of that there are stickies where old posters hung all over the walls, the wires look messy — I mean I don’t want to nit pick but it just appears LAZY. The attention to detail reminded me of the Cosi down the street — both places need a manager with a sense of clean. From now on, I’ll stick to the Einstein on Orchard Lake.
