Worst service ever! Manager was rude, wanted to sell me floor piece, and when I said no I want a new one, well than I can’t give you any deals. I tried to tell him I drove 30 mins here to see this sofa, I would appreciate if he could favor some sort of discount. It’s not like I am buying first time from ARTVAN. I have been a 6 year customer. Every year I buy something. But really disappointed with Manager. The Sales rep did suggest to the manager she really is interested and is going to buy, but he didn’t want to sell me any thing but the floor piece. Don’t bother wasting your time here, I would suggest go to Dearborn Location, they love making customer’s happy!

Art Van Rooms on Telegraph. Absolutely wonderful experience here and best furniture options than the bigger AV locations I’ve been to. Jo is absolutely fantastic to work with. From my first visit to the store to the time of delivery (a 9 month process which had nothing to do with the store’s wait time) Jo was not only helpful, but completely patient with us, offering her expertise along the way. Ordinarily a trip to a furniture store usually puts you on defense mode with the sales people ready to attack, even though you likely want to just browse and take it all in. This store has some of the greatest furniture groupings. We love our final selection and how it looks in our home, and owe most the design to Jo. Can’t say enough and highly recommend a visit to this store. Make sure to ask for Jo!

Victoria Hart is one of the best salespeople I’ve come across in a while. My wife and I came into the store just looking after visiting a competitor in the area and we we’re immediately drawn to this caring, considerate, patient and understanding individual. She did not rush us and so very attentive to our needs for furniture. So much so that we purchased a complete bedroom set, a media chest and mattresses, replacing what we have used for over twenty five years. We would definitely recommend Victoria and this Art Van store to anyone. The entire Art Van family at this store we have found to be exceptional. If it wasn’t for one mishap which was taken care of in our favor, this rating would have been absolutely five stars.

Manager Jo is amazing! I bought my first house and she has helped me find some really nice furniture for really good prices! Very responsive to any problems.
I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to interior design or decorating. Jo has helped me every step of the way and even came over to my house to give suggestions and take measurements. Talk about going above and beyond. I would never shop anywhere else for my furniture and mattresses. Why would you need to?

I went to the store looking for some bedroom furniture. The staff was very friendly but not pushy which I love. I was able to look around author feeling pressured.
Not only did I buy three bedroom sets, with two new mattresses, I also feel in love with a living room set and purchased that as well.
The Pure Sleep diagnostic was great, I wake up very refreshed and pain free now.
The displays in this store are very nice, week defiantly visit again this summer to possibly purchase an outdoor patio set.

Snug up against Costco’s plaza on the stretch of Telegraph I now think of as Furniture Row, Art Van Rooms is a smaller, better laid out sister of the megastores in Warren and Royal Oak/​Birmingham. They had a good range of couches and sectionals on display. Contemporary styles (blocky, suedey, and neutrally) are the most common. Interestingly I saw a large number of dark wood, heavily ornate king size bed frames on my visit, in case you have a Welsh castle to decorate.
True to all discount stores, you may not have the colour options you normally would, especially for end of line or discontinued products. Cue the usual existential question of whether you really need tomato red loveseats and bold patterned ottomans to express yourself. On the other hand, the discounts make these pieces a reasonable addition rather than an indulgence for someone with more money to blow than Kanye.
I ended up not finding what I was looking for, but this would be a place I frequented more if it weren’t on the backside of Oakland County from me.
Art Van stores elsewhere can take a large leaf from this store’s customer service: a warm greeting at the door, an offer for assistance as needed, and then discreet withdrawal to a distance where help can be summoned with a perplexed look. I downgraded Royal Oak’s store for the predatory sales tactics; here, the independence is a sheer relief. I felt free to touch, to sit, to breathe without a sales associate in my lap.
While Art Van Rooms didn’t earn my dollar this time, I recommend looking around if you are in the market for spacious furniture at a pretty good price.

I was doing my thing in Bloomfield one afternoon and came across this Art Van Clearance Center. Any title with the word clearance in it automatically gets a visit from me. This is a pretty cool store. While they do have furniture half of the store is dedicated to the sales of mattresses. When I tell you that you must indulge yourself by taking a visit just to lay on one of the $ 5k mattresses; you simply must. The proper name of the mattress escapes me but it’s made of a foam material that adjust to your body’s shape and movement. Heaven.
I could definitely see myself on one of those just not for five grand. My sales professional Tye informed me that I was on the Bentley of mattresses.
I actually need a queen size mattress so I asked him to point me in the direction of the GM mattresses; more of my budget class. Speaking of Tye he was of great assistance while I visiting the store. He was able to answer all of my questions and gave me the name of his co-​worker if I were to ever come back in and he was unavailable. The prices didn’t exactly scream clearance (I’m frugal) but there were some pieces that I would definitely break the budget for.
