Specialties
We are a small specialty market located in Blanch, North Carolina offering fresh baked goods, deli sandwiches, jams and jellies, organic grains and flours, gluten free products, dried fruits and nuts, housewares and Amish handcrafted furniture.
History
Established in 1990.
Yoder’s began in Caswell County about 25 years ago by an Amishman, Mr. Sam Yoder, and his family. A bulk food store is a common thing in Amish/Mennonite communities. The original store was on Hwy 62 (part of NC’s Colonial Heritage Scenic Byway), then later it was moved to Blanch Road, where it was on the same property as the family’s home. In 2008, under new management by the Smiths, the store moved to it’s current location of 90 County Home Rd in Yanceyville NC right in the heart of Caswell County. The store expanded with an on-site bakery and deli and nearly triple the space. With the heavy traffic flow right off of highway 86, it was an excellent move! In 2014, Brittney Scruggs and her husband, Justin, took over as the new store owners. They remodeled the store front with a fresh country feel and brought in a much sought after sandwich shop. By getting involved in the local community, the store continues to carry on it’s legacy and is thriving to this day!
