Description

Specialties

We offer the largest selection of American made pottery in the Blairsville, GA area. Woodcraft, jewelry, glass art, soaps, candles, as well as works from local and regional artists and craftsmen, are also what makes our little shop one of the best in the area. Our hours are consistent and convenient, and we have a nice large parking area for easy access to the shop. We are located in one of the prettiest areas of Blairsville, GA — just across the street from Alexander’s Store on Town Creek School Rd.

History

Established in 2007.

Sundance Gallery located in Blairsville, GA is a beautiful little gallery gift store that features American made pottery, woodcraft, glass art and so much more. We also offer the works of MANY local and regional artists and craftsmen. The shop is nestled in the prettiest part of town, south of the historic Blairsville square in the beautiful North Georgia mountains of Blairsville, GA and just across the street from the regionally famous Alexander’s Store. We aren’t far from Brasstown Bald (the highest mountain in GA), we are close to scenic waterfalls and hiking trails, and we are situated in an area with roads that are enjoyable for riding, biking and motorcycling. Motorcyclists are always welcome since my husband and I appreciate the joys of riding the curvy roads of the North Georgia mountains as much as anyone else. We also have a Geocache onsite as well!

In the mid-90’s, she and her husband began camping in the area before buying a second home in Blairsville, GA in 1999. When all the 2004 hurricanes hit Florida, Julie and Gary moved from Vero Beach and made Blairsville, GA their permanent home. Julie runs the shop and Gary works for the City of Young Harris.
