Just a little better than gas station Pizza but pizza around here is not that good anyway. Rates pretty high

The pizza was alright, nothing to write home about. I give it 3 stars because the staff was friendly and not sketchy like some north mountain resturants. I paid $ 12 for a medium pepperoni pizza… could have got the same pizza for $ 6 with a coupon at pizza hut. Go if you want to feel the city vibe…

The Best Pizza we have had in a while. We stopped in with a group of 14 for an early weekday dinner. We ordered 4 Different XL Pizzas and they all were perfect. A Cheese, a White, a Sausage/Onion, and a Special. If you like a thin-style crust, a decent amount of tasty sauce, and a good amount of mozzarella, then you will be glad you stopped in.

My husband and I planned on stopping in at Dan’s Grill, which is in the same little strip mall as Sicilys. Much to our disappointment Dan’s was closed for the day, we didn’t want drive around and look for another place to eat so when we saw that Sicilys was open, well it was an easy decision and in we went. It wasn’t very busy, in fact I believe only 3 – 4 tables were filled, but it was earlier in the day. The hostess/waitress greeted us immediately and seated just as fast. The menu is filled with your typical Italian dishes and we ultimately settled on a pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños on one half and sausage and mushrooms on the other. We also ordered linguini and meatballs for my husband and spaghetti and meatballs for myself. We don’t like our pasta overcooked and we asked if we could have ours al dente. Unfortunately the waitress did not seem to know what al dente meant so she went to the back to ask the chef/cook. When she returned she said that the cook said he does not do al dente. Ummm excuse me how do you not do al dente. In order to get fully cooked pasta it has to go through the al dente phase, yet we were told he does not do al dente. We decided to take a risk anyway and go with the linguini/spaghetti and meatballs anyway. Now we wished we ordered something else. The pasta as expected was limp and overcooked. The meat sauce was a bit too acidic for our taste. The meatballs were somewhat tasteless and could have used more pizzazz. The pizza on the other hand was a flat sphere of cheesy goodness. The crust was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside and moist. The cheese oh the cheese was melted to perfection and when you though it couldn’t melt anymore… well take a bite and it just dissolves in your mouth. The pepperoni was more of a deli roll cut than the typical store bought packages. The ingredients tasted fresh and it was just very satisfying overall As far as the pizza goes I give it a solid 4 stars. As for everything else the service was good and the other food average. We didn’t particularly like that they were unwilling to cook our pasta to our liking as we didn’t think it was an outrageous request; but hey at least the pizza sorta made up for it. Anyway if you decided to stop in try the pizza!

Surprised how good the pizza was! Tasted like my home made version. Even the garden salad was above average not the ordinary iceberg but mixed greens. Service was great obviously used to working as a team. We’ll be back

Service was a bit questionable – lots of unnecessary explanation needed to get an order placed correctly. That being said, my calzone was extremely delicious. Great crust/dough and fresh toppings. I had a ceasar salad that was pretty middle of the road. Overall, it was good and solid fare, but nothing outside the ordinary.

Tried this place for lunch today. Good lunch menu at reasonable prices. I had baked cheese ravioli and the wife had baked spaghetti with meatballs. They were out of meatballs but substituted sausage, which was OK. Food was very good and came with fresh baked garlic butter roles. Service was excellent and there was no wait.
