Five stars for the atmosphere and the experience. It is rustic, cabiney, and summer-camp-like. Beautiful property, with its own golf course, again charming, rustic, and relaxing. The pools are wonderful. We were only adults, so very nice we didn’t have to swim with the kids — if there had been any! We went right after Labor Day, weekdays, and had the place to ourselves. Planning to go back with the grown kids and grandkids. If you ever liked camping but don’t want to sleep in a tent or cook on the Coleman anymore, this is the way to go. Drink your coffee on your front porch in the morning and watch the deer go by. Priceless.

I shouldn’t even be reviewing this place. I don’t want Unilocalers to come here, because honestly this is my little zen getaway spot. I’ve been going to this place since I was 2 years old. I practically grew up with the families who attend in the last month of August. Its the ultimate week of relaxation. Golf, incredible hikes, swimming in lakes, cliff jumping, mountain biking… God bless California. Can’t wait ’till next year.
