Target seems to be changing their focus with respect to Super Targets. The grocery section of this store is a pale imitation of what it once was. They have eliminated most«local brand» products, like Captain Ken’s baked beans, and they’ve filled the space with more«Archer Farm»(Target brand). I used to come here several times a week. Now, I go like once a month for non-food stuff, and shop at the other«super center» for most of my groceries and go to «the» supermarket to buy local brands.

After having moved to Connecticut, where Super Target is apparently not a thing, I feel like I’ve been deprived of the full Target shopping experience. This Super Target is the key to my heart, happiness and an empty wallet. Every time I’m back in town, I always end up going to this Super Target. It’s kept very clean, it’s large, it has a good selection of groceries, hard lines and soft lines(I worked at a Target in my high school days, so apologies for the lingo). It’s easy to navigate, and is pretty on par with how I expect Target stores to be set up. This particular location, in my opinion, always offer a good selection for its seasonal section. With it being so close to the Nation Sports Center, it does get very busy in the summer time, particularly during the day when soccer matches are going on. The hectic-ness is further amplified when the USA Cup is going on.

This is «My» Target. Yes, most stores are set up the same, but once you get used to your Target, it’s just easier to navigate to get in and find what you need. Target is never an in and out trip for me. I always have to start on the electronics side of the store and make my way around the sides to eventually end up in groceries. I was surprised to find out that people don’t know the clearance areas exist! End caps people! There is ALWAYS clearance for every section. Just gotta find it! Also, you can use the cartwheel app on clearance purchases even though it usually says«not valid on clearance items». You get double deals… add a manufacturers coupon and things really get cheap!

Here’s the thing, I love almost any Target store. I currently live abroad, & sadly Target stores only exist in the US. So any review I do of a Target will be seen through the rose colored glasses of someone who loves Target & only gets to have it a couple times a year. I loved my visit! I got everything I was looking for at a great price. The only bad part was mi less than awesome checkout lady. She sucked. It’s a boring story, so I won’t go into why, but even she could not damper my love affair with Target. I dream of July, when I will be in the US again, & can shop at another Target again.

Target is the Beverly Hills of Walmart. In comparison, I rather shop at Target rather than Walmart because the place is so clean. I like to go to this Target because it’s right by home. The workers are nice and helpful and they are located in every corner!

This Super Target is clean, well lit, and easy to navigate. Good selection with fair prices.

Come in to pick up a prescription and walk out with $ 100 worth of stuff. Welcome to Target.

This is a Super Target, so they have a good selection of items including food at great prices. There are a few staple food items I almost always buy at Target now because they’re just not as good of a deal at the local grocery store. They usually have a really good selection of clothing on clearance(better than most Target stores), and the prices seem to drop a little quicker as well. They have a very helpful and friendly staff – I was once even greeted by someone in the beauty department, and she was very knowledgeable about the products. I felt like I was in a department store downtown for a moment… it was nice. She listened to what I was looking for, made some suggestions, and answered my questions. It was quite refreshing to find in Target. Normally I shop there for convenience – now I must say I shop there for service too!
