It is okay. Pretty cheap, but also inconsistent. Sometimes I get great pizza, sometimes it’s burnt to a crisp, and sometimes the dough is completely raw. It is a hit or miss with this place.

I like pizza. Beast of Blacksburg has pizza. To me, this is a good thing. I like soda. Guess what Beast has to drink? Again, another good thing. Finally, I like turtles. Guess what Beast doesn’t have; 3 stars.

I ordered a large mushroom pizza for carryout. The pizza was only okay. The pizza was much better under the last management before they changed the name from Firehouse Pizza to Best of Blacksburg. The new recipe includes a mixture of cheeses including cheddar. The new cheese was unevenly distributed and made the pizza much more greasy and eclipsed the flavor of the sauce. The mushrooms looked and tasted like canned mushrooms. The best thing about the pizza is the crust. The new recipe is a change for the worse. I won’t be going back. Dominoes has better flavor and their crust tastes like cardboard. I’m going back to PKs, Benny’s, or and the cellar for some MUCH better pizza. Definitely not the best.
