Dr. Dovie has been practicing in south-west Virginia since 2005, and opening his own office, Blacksburg Eye Associates, in 2009.

Business Owner
Dr. Dovie grew up in the Navy, moving often. He went to Virginia Tech for undergrad, and after graduating Cum Laude with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry he went to study optometry in Philadelphia. There he earned his doctorate and completed his residency.
He moved back to south-west Virginia in 2005 and opened his own office, Blacksburg Eye Associates, in 2009.
