Chase Creek Bed & Breakfast

This is one of our favorite places to stay. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful accommodations, kind staff and amazing homemade breakfast. There is also an incredible story behind this home. You won’t be disappointed with your experience!

We stayed here at the beginning of July 2015 and had a perfect experience. Karen and Hal are extremely welcoming and accommodating, and probably the sweetest couple you could meet.
The location is beautiful, just a short walk from downtown Black Hawk, and yet far enough away that you feel completely secluded from the bustle of town. A small creek runs right by the house, so you can leave your windows open in the summertime and drift off to slumber listening to the soothing sounds of water rushing by. The house sits at the mouth of a hiking trail, which follows the creek to a beautiful waterfall, and even further up to a breathtaking panoramic view of neighboring Central City (I think it was about a 2-​mile hike in, 4 round trip.)
The rooms are spacious, our bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathrooms are big and tidy (ours featured a nice, big jacuzzi tub.) We were able to access wi-​fi, watch television, and select from a big library of movies to watch in our room.
We can’t even begin to rave enough about breakfast the next morning. The French toast with special berry sauce was literally the best both my husband and I have ever had. Hats off to the chef!
If you’re looking for a relaxing, stress-​free mountain get-​away, (with the option of hitting the slots) look no further. We easily give Chase Creek Bed and Breakfast (the location, the food, and the people) five stars! You’ll want to plan your next trip back before you even leave!

My husband and I stayed here while we explored Black Hawk for the first time.
Wow! What a beautiful place! Our room was at the top of the house. It was clean and spacious and airy. The jetted tub was huge. We also had exclusive access to the hot tub which had such a wonderful view of the moon. The whole home was just lovely.
In the morning we headed downstairs for morning coffee and conversation with the very friendly and personable proprietress. She made the most delicious homemade breakfast with her own delicious hot fruit compote.
We had such a lovely time at Chase Creek B&B! We are going back as soon as we can!

No way to make a reservation at this place but call. Called and got voice mail. That was over 8 hours ago. They need to set up a better reservation system.
