Business Owner

New owners Dan and Gina took over the business spring 2015 from their cousin Curt who had been running The Smoke House for ten years. Family owned and operated, keeping some of the great original recipes while adding a few new items to spice things up! Keeping with the local tradition, Gina’s Black Diamond lineage goes back three generations!

What a quality meat market, everything is fresh, omg the jerky, pepperoni, old world sausage, just like the old days.
By a little or a lot, you will be back for more.
My favorite is m80s, omg God they are hot!!!
Smoked cheese, is delicious, sauces, sauerkraut, to.
Stop by grab some meat, go next door and buy some fresh bread at the bakery, and your ready for a picnic or bbq.
I take the chicken, warm it on the barby!

We have visited this smoke house a couple times now and never been disappointed. The owners are really nice and really know their stuff. The smoked chicken and the pepperoni is soooo good. We were considering buying a smoker but after discovering this place said never mind we will just go here, couldn’t do better.

What a great place to stop for some jerky and meat sticks. They are located on a beautiful strip in the historical part of town with a few other shops near them. We grabbed some snacks after our hike and enjoyed them thoroughly. If you are nearby and love jerky, you have to stop by and grab some.

Stopped in here a few weeks ago, and very glad I did. My son and I had came to Black Diamond for the Miner’s Museum, while walking back to our car, I got hit in the face with the smell of pure bliss… ahhhh SMOKED MEATS! The staff was so friendly and offered us fresh samples. So many options to chose from. I was very impressed that most of their product is made in house. I also asked about shipping, and they ship everywhere. I highly recommend checking them out!

Tiny, but awesome place that has great pepperoni sticks, pickles and jerky. If you want a salty/​savory snack or nice hostess gift to take to a party, this a good spot with nice employees that will be happy to help you.

This place is pretty cool. Small little meat shop, but man when you open the door it just smells heavenly (if you are into smoked meats of course). The gentleman working there was a nice guy and seems like someone you could talk about the wonderfulness of smoke meats and cheese, but I was in a bit of a rush.
They have a food variety of sausage, pepperoni, pork chops and what’s awesome is cheese as well! If you are in the area stop by and give the shop a try. Oh and they have some good thick cut jerky.
