Nardello’s

My turn, happy to write my review here. I am a former New Yorker of many years, Manhattan and Brooklyn, now in the great plains.
When I came to Bismark for my day in town I came here and was thinking: I hope those reviews are right. A happy crowd of people inside, families, kids and all sorts and people coming in and out for their pizzas. Seems like everyone local was in the know.
When I got my single slice and garlic knots, well — can I say I got a little nostalgic and choked up? How many times did I eat pizza in the many small shops in the city? same thin, crunchy crust, sauce and cheese. If I closed my eyes, I was back in time. Ok, so maybe others don’t have my memories — and it’s just a good pizza shop. That’s ok, too. I will definitely be back.

We came to this restaurant in Bismarck because it was so highly rated. Maybe I came on an off day because of the holidays, but I wasn’t nearly as impressed as other diners. They mixed up our order on a few items.
The Philly cheesesteak was HUGE, and you can add any toppings you would like for a fee. It is definitely enough for two meals (or two people).
I will also give them props for the gluten free crust, as it’s the best I’ve tried. It was served on a cheap paper plate, however. Two of us ordered it to share, but we should’ve each ordered our own.
The antipasto salad was also very tasty and covered in toppings. It was a nice addition to a pizza.

No doubt about it that Nardello’s is the BEST pizza in town! Owner and his family are great. No matter what we eat, it’s pure. Perfection. Philly cheese steaks really… Just like Philly. Steven is the owner… Give him a hand ND really pizzeria in town

I really can’t go higher than 3 stars here. While it is a pretty good pizza the first taste of the crust absolutely reminded me of Papa Murphys take and bake. That alone cost it for me at least a star. The sauce is light and pretty tasty. The cheese and pepperoni were pretty much standard run of the mill toppings. I didn’t ask for extra cheese but that’s what it seemed like they gave. I would give it another chance and maybe order another type pizza or a philly.

I ordered a plain 14″ with extra cheese to go. it was fantastic and way too much food for one person. I think I knew that going in.
The flavor reminded me of my favorite pizza place in Cincinnati, Vic Cassano’s. Thin crust with an emphasis on flavor. Nardello’s has this in spades.
Extra cheese was probably too much, but the silliest thing of all was because it was hot out of the oven, the cheese had a mind of it’s own on the drive to the hotel. If you’re going to get a pizza to go, bring someone with you that can hold the pizza box steady.
Next time I think I’ll eat in and I think I’ll stick with just ordering pizza by the slice.

Nondescript local spot in the middle of strip mall and big box hell. Great garlic knots, super friendly staff. Will definitely be back

A plain store front hides one of Bismarck’s treasures. Nardello’s is simply a great eatery. We are fond of east coast/​Greek style pizza and this is as close to New England style pizza on the prairies that we’ve discovered. We gladly visit here each year as we trek down from Saskatchewan. One tip, order a whole pizza, always fresh, hot and some leftovers to take home!

Stopped off 94. Good, quick and friendly. Big slices. The caprese salad was totally fine, especially for the money. The kids argued for five stars based on pizza quality. Very family friendly.

Very good service from a friendly staff. Ordered the Philly style sandwich, it was good but nothing to write home about. I would defiantly go there again to try their other offerings. While waiting for my sandwich some other customers were raving about their great pizza.

Super friendly staff and great food. Really don’t know how much more you could ask for. Both the sandwiches and pizzas are great, I haven’t had anything I didn’t like there! The only thing I would change would be more comfortable seating, but that’s really minor and honestly I like my house so taking it to go is fine with me!

Wow! Had to come 1700 miles from So. California to Bismarck ND to get the best pizza and Philly Cheese Steak I have ever eaten. I ate a cheese pizza and found it to be better than any pizza I’ve ever eaten. I travel the country and am picky. I just can’t say enough good about this place. The owner visited each table and made sure every customer was satisfied. Staff was friendly and competent. The place was clean, modern and decorated with pictures from the Sapranos. We loved it. They back their own bread for the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was just the perfect texture. It was soft but not soggy. I could not have enjoyed our food more and my husband mirrors my comments. Do yourself a favor and try this place!!!

We arrived in Bismarck on July 23^rd with plans to stay for 4 days. We took a brief overview drive of the City and then decided we needed some Pizza. I always check the web sites and read the reviews from both locals and visitors. Nardello’s Pizza caught our eye based on the customer reviews plus it was in a convenient location. Actually you can get around very easy in Bismarck except for the road construction and one way streets. We ordered garlic bread (sold at 50 cents each) and a 14 inch half cheese and half ham, cheese and onion pizza. The pizza was truly amazing. The cheese and ingredients were fresh and the pizza came out hot and tasty. We are very picky reviewers. I am giving the restaurant a 4.0 and would return. The only other negative, very slight, is the plastic spoons and knives. Other than that, I give Nardello’s a two thumbs up. Oh yes, the staff was very friendly and customer service minded.

Came into town to visit family and brought them here for dinner. The pizza was great my family really enjoyed it. Just the perfect amount of sauce and a nice New York style crust. My only complaint is they didn’t have jalapeño. The staff was very nice and they were so fast. We will be coming back soon.

I’m home for the holiday’s and this is a pleasant surprise to come back to!
The pizza was true to New York and the sauce was spot on, garlic knots to!
The place was packed, so the word is out, even though only three people have reviewed it!

Whenever we are in Bismarck, and want a pizza this is the place to go! Very good pizza cooked perfectly, and very friendly staff!
Keep telling myself I have to try their sandwich’s, maybe next time we are there!
The Cheese Fries are a must get here!

Last night, I ordered a large pepperoni to go.
I’ve lived in Bismarck for more than 20 years, so I understand what I’m about to say is blasphemy.
Nardello’s might serve the best pizza in Bismarck. Yes, this includes A&B.
I guess I’ll have to try Nardello’s a few more times to find out for sure! ;)
