Foxy Nails No 31

Absolutely, positively, do NOT go to this nail salon. While visiting for a friend’s wedding, I went here for my gel fills and ended up having to go to another salon the next morning to fix what they had done.
#1 He flat out REFUSED to file my nails shorter.
#2 While buffing, he watched television the whole time. He never once looked at what he was doing [I’m not exaggerating]
#3 The gel started CHIPPING off after about 1 hour!!! I have never in my life had gel chip off, let alone the same night after having it done!!!
My friend came with to get a standard manicure, and they were all baffled that she didn’t want acrylic nails with a fat french manicure [they do their tips WAY too wide, IMO]. She had to wait until someone who knew how to do a regular manicure had freed up.
After retelling our story, we learned that they have had many complaints and have been threatened with being closed down due to uncleanliness.
I really would suggest going somewhere else. Try Spa d’Athena. We had a lovely afternoon there getting facials, massages and pedicures. I wish I could have gotten my fills done there instead.
