We had carpet installed at our northern OC condo last year by a friend. The friend did a horrible job on the hallway with seams and since its Berber, I was constantly afraid of it raveling out. We also had some breakage in the ceramic tiles between the carpet and tiles. With the rental season upon me, I was in a panic so I called several local carpet vendors for help. Matt was the only call back. He showed up when he promised — in our very tight timeframe — and took care of the seams immediately! We then scheduled a mutually convenient time for Matt to come out to fix the tile issue. He was not only efficient, he was very affordable. I found my new OC go to floor/carpet guy for sure. I would definitely recommend him!

We just recently had new floors and new carpet installed in our Ocean City Condo. First off, I just want to say that our experience was A+ from the first interaction. Matt is very professional, attention to detail, and polite. We are very pleased we decided to do business with Matt the Carpet Guy. The workers did a great job. They were very clean and cautious while working, they did a great job cleaning up after the work. The work was completed in the timeframe that it was promised and we had absolutely no issues with the work or the finished project. Matt and his team were terrific. Matt lived up to the high recommendation received from our contractor. Matt was early for the 1^st appointment to meet, review our options, obtain measurements and discuss carpet samples. We love early! We were able to conduct our final order very easily with Matt long-distance via email. Installation was done very professionally, the team was very polite with a great sense of humor, they replaced the furniture as we directed and they cleaned up both inside and outside very well. WOW… did I get lucky. We just settled on a house in Fenwick Island and I needed carpet work done. I didn’t know anyone so I looked online and read some reviews and called Matt the Carpet Guy. If you are looking to work with a great company run by a talented, passionate and energetic owner, call Matt! Matt does excellent work! He arrived on time and his price was fair. Great guy and GREAT QUICK SERVICE! We had our dog tear up a small section of carpet and luckily Matt the Carpet Guy came out less than a week after we called him. His repair was first class and the ONLY way you know where the repair was is that the swatch of carpet we gave him to do the repair was a little cleaner… that won’t last since the area is just outside our kitchen. We would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Matt for carpet repair. We understand he also has a rug cleaning connection and he sells and installs carpet and we will definitely contact him for both of these services.
