Organic Cornish Game Hens locally raised, cleaned and freshly wrapped, ready for you to take and cook or freeze.

We have a variety of fresh, dried, frozen and canned peppers as well.

Cooked hens are available if reservations are made in advance as well as notification of hens ordered. Best if ordered 2 – 3 days prior. Frozen hens may be on hand. Fire starters are available.

History

Established in 2015.

In a long a waited 2 year planning and research, The Foxy D inc., has now opened for business and started with the raising of 100 2 day old Cornish Game Hens that have had no added hormones or antibiotics at any time. They have been nurtured and raised with love and care to be the happiest and healthiest possible. They run in a protected area with sunshine, trees, and the sound of water running from a creek into a pond.

Hens are prepared by means of (slaughter), cleaned, weighed and wrapped as fresh as fresh can be. They cost the going rate for organic chickens and currently sell for $ 3.50 a pound.

All organic produce have been grown on the property as well as a very developed website that is still expanding. Peppers are a specialty.

Business Owner

Love the High Sierra’s, especially the Owens Valley and the Mammoth Lakes area. I have been camping in the are since before I was born. I moved to Bishop in 1985.

I was raised in Orange County, California, as Orange County Girl as they come!

I love happy and healthy and like to have that as a moto.

I am the mother of my daughter Cynthia and grandmother of Julia, Evelyn and step grandmother of Josh.

I am the mother of Cynthia’s only sibling, the late Christopher Schumacher, whom passed away from asthma in 1996. I am the founder of Blue Ribbon Asthma Awareness Week that is held every October.

I am also proud of my family line of adventurers and ranchers. We love to get our hands in the soil.
