Pretty darned good yogurt, although I can’t say there’s much that sets it apart from your typical yogurt franchise.
I found this place via the Unilocal app (hooray!), but it was kind of hard to figure out where to park. Eventually, I realized you can park in the hospital’s structure, then just walk down.

I rarely give out five stars, but Zen Yogurt deserves it. Their prices are great, the place is clean and the staff is friendly. They also have a lot of deals through a variety of vendors, including GroupOn and even Coupons for Classrooms 2013, which is a charity coupon magazine that supports local schools.
I kinda wish they had a few more flavors, but they always have an extra, new seasonal flavor which lasts a short time, and is always a great surprise. I usually mix flavors and add a few toppings which is great. They also serve smoothies which I have had a few times. They ones I have tried, usually protein types, are always delicious.
Parking can be an issue, but that’s not there fault. They do have seats outside which is always fun and relaxing. They are located nearby a lot of food venues so Zen Yogut makes a great stop for a healthy dessert.
I work out a lot, but will enjoy a yogurt on the weekends or a protein shake for a healthy chocolate fix.
Keep an eye out for deals, they are always around.

super clean yogurt shop right smack in the middle of the UAB campus in Birmingham. The employees are friendly and the smoothies are great too.
Customers can add fresh fruit and delicious toppings to yogurt and pay only 45 cents per oz.
All shakes and smoothies are 22 oz. Try the Banana Bonita it’s oh so yummy!
