Pizza was good and fresh. Ordered over phone and picked up. Wasn’t told they had multiple sizes so ended up with the 2 of their smallest pizzas for three of us. The girl who checked me out was semi friendly but could have been more customer focused. Lots of pizza places in area so hopefully things improve here.

**changing it from 3 stars to 4… and in reality it’s probably a 3.75. :-) I didn’t have a bad experience and I wasn’t disappointed so it deserves a 4.** ******* Overall, I enjoyed my experience. Cool and attentive staff and pizza was good. Leo checked on me several times and made sure I knew that if I didn’t like it, they would refund my money or make me another pizza. There was no need for any of that because I had no complaints. I ordered a basic pepperoni, bleu cheese and mozzarella on wheat crust. If I lived closer I would definitely try it again. However, I don’t want to base a review on location. But, just making a point that the pizza, though good, isn’t special enough for me to make the long drive out to Lee Branch. By comparison, I like Pieology slightly better. Pieology has more choices for toppings, which are unlimited. Uncle Maddio’s toppings didn’t «look» as fresh. I think Uncle Maddio’s personal pizzas are just a tad smaller than the ones at Pieology. It’s a cool, clean and inviting atmosphere and I would say it would be an awesome place for parents and kids or younger patrons on group dates, etc. It has a very, youthful, hip environment. Their cookies looked really good and they had something called a «foldwich» that I didn’t get a chance to ask about. Very kid-friendly menu. I think it’s definitely a better option than say, a Papa John’s if you’re looking to pick up a personal pizza to go and you’re not feeding a large family. My pizza was ready in less than 15 minutes. If you’re out this way, give it a try.

Overall: A subway/chipotle for pizza Ambiance: Nice family atmosphere Menu: Plenty of toppings, sauces, crust, and choices. If you build a custom pizza you get a cheese, sauce, and three toppings included then charged per ingredient after that. Impressive gluten free option if that’s your thing. Taste: My chicken bbq was kind of bland but still pretty tasty. My wife’s meat pizza was pretty flavorful. Price: $ 16 for two 9″ pizzas and 1 drink Staff: Very friendly and attentive. If I removed one ingredient he offered to add another of my choice. Very careful with how much of each ingredient I desired. We will be going back for round two but I will mostly likely try something different. They do have a quality guarantee. If you don’t like what you ordered, they will make you some thing else free of charge!

The pizza is great. The crust is crunchy, and flavorful. The service is great. Having said that, there is one problem. The music is so loud you can’t hear what the staff is asking you about what you want on your pizza. You can’t have a conversation with anyone your with. My wife won’t eat inside because its so loud. The type of music is fine, its just too loud.

I’m a fan! I’ve only been once but intend to go back. I built my own pizza because that’s just how I roll but it was rockin’!! It’s priced fair and the ingredients are, I won’t say top notch, but certainly worthwhile. It’s a little inconveniently located, but if you’re in the neighborhood and craving some pizza… definitely give Uncle Maddio’s a shot.

My sweetie and I checked this place out during their opening weekend. I found out they were giving out an email coupon code for a free small pizza, so we decided to try them out. This is one of those new concept pizza joints that lets you customize your pizza right before your eyes and then bakes it in about 5 – 7 minutes. We ordered the free pizza with hamburger and bacon with extra cheese and two drinks. We figured if it was good we would just go back and order another since the free pizza was really only enough for one person. As we waited on our pizza, we attempted to get our drinks, only to be met by a broken machine. This was one of those coke machines that lets you customize your drinks with different flavors. While we waited on one of the workers to fix it, another couple jumped in front of us. They were older so my sweetie just shook his head at me and said«Let them go ahead». I ditched the drink machine and opted for the tea. Bad choice. When our mini pizza was ready, it was brought to the table by the manager who explained that part of the crust had tore while trying to retrieve it from the oven. He offered us another pizza but we declined. As the pizza connissoueurs that we think we are, we decided that the pizza was pretty tasty. The meats were fresh and everything had a good flavor. We ended up ordering a medium size pizza and scarfed it down in no time. While the pizza was good, Uncle Maddio’s is too far out in the land of no return for us. I wished they had picked a more central location for their flagship restaurant here. Not sure if it’s worth driving back for. Pros: tasty pizza, variety of sizes, quick cook time, can see your food being prepared Cons: just average, too far out to be considered a central location in the metro area, no unlimited topping choice, can see your food being prepared(yes that is listed twice)

Absolute chaos. Not how I want to spend dinner with my family. Rest of family is eating while I’m waiting on them to remake my pizza that they screwed up the first time. Employees don’t really seem to know what’s going on either. Won’t come back. Too many other reliable choices to choose from around here.

The pizza at Maddios was awesome, and I’m not even a pizza eater. The hubs and I went down the line picking toppings for our individual pizzas, Subway-style. I loved that they have a whole wheat crust option and that there is a large, fresh selection of veggies. We will definitely be going back ASAP!

Very good pizza crust and fresh ingredients make this restaurant one I will go back to. I like the counter service. This place is in the style of Chipotle and Subway in that you go through a line picking your crust, sauce, cheese and toppings. Only kids were working when I went and they congregated in the back, playing with phones and talking. Hey, I guess if there is nothing to do that is cool, but in the restaurant business something always needs to be done. I know. I worked at one and we had to stay busy. I’m just saying an adult or responsible manager on premises is needed. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The serving line needed to be cleaned up as there were bits of the food outside the holding trays. But, I guess they were busy and could not do that. All in all, though, this was a very nice place to have lunch and the tasty pizza crust will insure its success, I think.

Good experience overall. Food was really good, even if a bit over priced. The Greek salad was excellent. The pizza was pretty good too. We will definitely be back.

Made a pizza in front of me and somehow i got the wrong pizza, twice. Large was $ 20 each and not very good. Nothing outstanding about this place, Marco’s produces a much better product for a better value. Disappointed in todays experience and wont be back.

Fresh, fast, casual, and delicious. Uncle Maddio’s pizza joint is a welcome addition to our neighborhood. You can order a pizza from the menu like«spicy Italian» or «buffalo chicken», they also have fun Limited Time Offer pizzas. My friend got one with an egg in it yesterday, I can’t remember what it was called but it was good. And another friend got one with peaches and balsamic! So good. BUT the really fun part of you do not have to order from the menu! You walk up like you would at like a chipotle and choose your crust«white or wheat?» Then the sauce and cheese and toppings! So much fun and any combo you what. They have personal sizes or you can build one for a group. But any size pizza is a personal pizza if you try hard enough. I had the caprese starter and I loved it. Also had a side Cesar salad. Really crunch and fresh. The dressing was very tasty too. And it came with a nice flatbread crust thing. And the cannoli’s were sweet and satisfying. I just think everyone should give this place a try! I think it’s great for kids and adults. They serve wine and beer if you were wondering. And it’s really fast so a great place for lunch or to satisfy a quick delicious fresh pizza craving. Thanks for reading!
