Dr. Corey L. Hartman, is the founder and medical director of the Skin Wellness Center of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.

Dr. Hartman has a special interest in General Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, Cosmetic Dermatology and Ethnic Hair and Skin Disorders. He frequently speaks on hair disorders and cosmetic procedures in darker racial skin tones at meetings around the country.

Dr. Hartman is also a fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

I’ve had overall good experiences at the skin wellness center of Alabama. The office is conveniently located in Homewood, very sleek design as awesome office tunes play in the background. The office staff is friendly.
I love that my time is a huge value and depending on your concerns, you can be in and our within an hour. That being said, it’s best to use the assistant that escorts you to the room. She is more than likely the liaison for your dermatologist. Make sure you share everything you’d like to discuss with your doctor as she will brief him/​her beforehand.
Lastly, dermatology/​healthy skin can be expensive, but it’s so worth it if you take the advice/​expert knowledge of the professional. Another perk… e-​prescriptions!

Beautiful, modern office. I felt very comfortable waiting; they had some very pleasant music playing.
The staff were all super friendly and welcoming.
Dr. Hartman was very kind and thorough dealing with me. He shared a lot of good information, and let me knew exactly what I need to do going forward without hesitation. He have me a couple prescriptions to pick up right away.
I really liked this experience. Very smooth, quick process. My new patient appointment was at 8 on a Wednesday. I got in at 7:45, and made it out by 8:20/25.
