History

Established in 1969.

Shear Pointe was founded by William McCarty in 1969 with the idea that every man, woman and child looks and feels better with a hair style that is designed to fit a personality and face.

Mr. McCarty felt that a Hair Replacement Center should offer both surgical and non-​surgical hair replacement and restoration options and Shear Pointe has not changed that core philosophy. The firm is now under the direction of Mr. Scott McCarty.
