Description

Specialties

Otey’s Tavern is the perfect spot for a delicious bite to eat, a cocktail after work and even those late nights out in a fun village setting.

Live music every weekend, weekly team trivia (Wednesdays), and one of the best wait staffs you’ll find anywhere.

History

Established in 1989.

Originally called ‘Cacky’s’ — the name was changed shortly after opening, Otey’s has been an institution of the Mountain Brook and Birmingham area for 25 years. Highlighted by Otey’s head chef of 23 years, Rodney Davis.

Rodney’s recipes have received numerous awards from countless organizations with his famous cheeseburger, blackened chicken sandwich, wings, wraps, and more.

Otey’s has played a part in many our patrons’ lives as a place where at one time they had their birthday party, to a place they would visit to friends upon returns home from college, where they’ve met their husband or wife, and now bring their own children.

It is known locally as the ‘Cheers of Mountain Brook’ — where everybody knows your name.
