Little Flower Day Spa

Little Flower Day Spa’s massage services are my favorite in this city, hands down. The woman who answers the phone and greets you when you walk in is so serene that it’s almost like your relaxation begins before the actual massage does.
As someone who relies on massage therapy for back problems instead of taking pain medication, I can honestly say that Maya has been a great find for not only a reduction in stress, but also my health. She knows her stuff, and remembers my specific issues so I don’t have spend time going over it each time.
There aren’t any fluffy white robes or fruit infused waters here, which I like — I don’t need or want those extras, I just want my massage! Plus the prices for the massages are so great that I promise you won’t miss those pretentious extras.
One note on location: The massage area and the hair salon area are in different part of the building. If you enter from the side where Daniel George is across the street, keep walking down the hall and the massage area is to the left through a sliding glass door.

So very pleased with my massage and the service provided by Loretta and her staff. Maya’s massage totally relaxed me and put me in a much needed zone. In fact, I booked my next massage prior to leaving. Very happy with the environment, service, staff and all Little Flower has offered me these last two times. Thanks so much!

I have been to little flower day spa on 2 occasions — had a groupon both times — I had to write in response to the bad review bc I believe it’s unfair — the groupon CLEARLY stated the choice was of two stylists — I have used this salon (I live in Mtn Brook) and never heard of them not answering their phones! I am sure the owner meant you can’t walk in off the street expecting a master stylist to honor a groupon only redeemable by the stylist listed (usually a newer stylist) I had to make my appt about a week in advance, but the girl treated me as well as any «high paying» customer! So did the staff– the owner is very nice! (so nice I bought a gift certificate for a back facial for my bf which he enjoyed! — I would say they are busy– yes, I had to wait about 30 min once but these things happen — people run late, I wanted to use a specialist in color and I am sure she doesn’t honor «groupons»
I think it’s unfair to ruin a salons reputation bc your wife walked in and expected «fell service «from a groupon! The groupon is to boost a certain stylist not for someon else established to loose money bc you didn’t PLAN a visit properly! This is a tiny salon and I know the excuse «they don’t answer their phones» is a bald faced lie! They WANT business or else no groupons would be offered, but the supply must meet demand– I have had issues buying groupons (massage) then found out I couldn’t get an appt for 3 months! I blamed groupon– for not making sure the services could be performed in a reasonable time– got so sick of it I no longer use groupon!
But I’ve had nothing but great service (though waiting time was not as I like) from little flower — I would use & recommend them but I will never use them without calling to see FIRST if my appt was confirmed and on time– its common sense!
If the stylist didn’t show up– they should have called her and had her deal with it !! Be accountable but to expect the other stylists to compensate isn’t fair IMO!

I had a groupon for massage. The lady was soft spoken and nice, but she seemed tired exhausted (maybe overwhelmed from groupon buyers?). I didn’t get what groupon was promised for. It was supposed to be 70 minutes aromatherapy with hot towels. Hot towels were literally just hot towels on your back and your feet, nothing extra. Biggest thing was that it was NOT aromatherapy. There was no aroma lotion/​oil at all! Huge disappointment. The room did smell nice. It was just plain a Swedish. I asked to work on my lower back and feet, but she focused more on my shoulders and no lower back rub at all. Also at times, she would stop for a minute (her hand was just stationed on my back) –I have no idea why. There were a couple of «standard techniques» that she didn’t do. I know different therapist might have different quirk but there are some that all my other therapist done that she didn’t do. On top of everything it was only 60 minutes of massage time so maybe the count the times you change in those 70 minutes??? Although 60 minutes Swedish massage for $ 65 still a good deal compare to other places, I still felt like I was ripped off and scammed because the groupon advertised something more…
On a side note, the salon is cute boutique shop. It has little things for your purchase and relaxes in the wait area. There’s a young lady who seem to be popular with male haircuts and another older with coloring.

My wife just returned from Little Flower Day Spa, and she was mortified by her experience.
She was unable to redeem the Groupon because they would not call her back. She tried for months to schedule an appointment for highlights. They either didn’t answer the phone, or she was told over and over that «The lady who does Groupons is not in». Finally after much persistence, she gets an appointment and the stylist doesn’t show up. She waited an hour and was finally told there are no more appointments available with another stylist.
She talked to the store owner or manager who told her that her problem was that she bought a Groupon and was expected the same service as those who pay full price. I can’t believe they were so disrespectful.

Bonnie did a wonderful mani/​pedi for me! She was friendly, helpful and the spa is really nice! I am glad Sharing Spree helped me find this place and Bonnie! I will go back!
