Dr. Jeffrey D. Backus grew up in Hoover, AL. Upon graduating from Berry High School, he received his Bachelors Degree from Auburn University. Following that, he attended UAB school of Dentistry and completed his Orthodontic Residency at LSU School of Dentistry. He is married to Dr. Dominique V. Backus and together they have 3 children. He started Backus Orthodontics 16 years ago. In our office, it is our goal to make you as comfortable as possible; making you feel like family every time you walk in our door. We are convenient to most Hoover Schools and that is a plus for the necessary frequent visits to the Orthodontist! We serve Adults and Children. Voted by our community as Hoover’s Best!
