Description

Specialties

We work with residents of north central and northern Alabama. We regularly travel to the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) main offices and satellite hearing locations in Birmingham, Montgomery, Florence, Tuscaloosa, Selma, Gadsden, Anniston and Jasper. We are here to help you, the claimant, present your story of disability to the administrative judges.

The Social Security Administration acknowledges that having legal representation strengthens ones chances of being granted disability benefits. We believe that our experience, credentials and knowledge set us apart and we believe that we can truly make a difference in your claim. We have unparalleled experience in our field, we offer personal attention to every client and we have a reputation for success!

We offer free consultations and there are no attorney fees unless we win benefits for you.

History

Established in 1982.

In 1982, Janet Cox left her job as an attorney for the Social Security disability hearing office and entered private practice of law. Her practice was built on representing Social Security disability claimants. Janet has practiced extensively in this area from 1982 to the present. In 2002 Mary Neal Reynolds, also a former Social Security attorney, merged her disability practice and the firm Cox & Reynolds, LLC was formed. Together, they have decades of experience at handling disability claims at the administrative hearing level through appeals for Federal Court. More recently, due to internet technology, they have expanded the practice to include helping claimants file initial claims.
