After having less-than-stellar results ordering from the big Internet florists, I opted to go with a local choice — choosing Continental Florist in Birmingham, based in part on its Unilocal reviews. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. When I spoke to the representative on the phone (who was very friendly and accommodating), I was very clear with my delivery instructions. The delivery driver, however, either didn’t get the instructions or ignored them, and as a result, the flowers didn’t reach their destination for three days. Obviously, the flowers were sent for a special occasion, so I was not happy that they arrived than three days after they were promised. I don’t mind paying for better flowers, but for $ 100 I expect them to reach their destination when promised. Very, very disappointed.

Awesome Awesome Awesome!
Customer service was super great! The lady on the phone was very insightful and full of ideas! I highly recommend their services. The prices are a little high, but the quality overrules the price.
The bouquet that was arranged for me was beautiful! I would trust this florist a thousand times over to help me again!

Continental has always been my go-to florist, from Mother’s Day flowers to Homecoming boutonnieres. However, my appreciation for Continental and for Mr. Orr has skyrocketed after using them for my wedding last month. Mr. Orr is the absolute best to work with and has a great eye for flower design, a great mind for business, and is an overall nice man. He knew exactly what I wanted and went above-and-beyond my own vision – plus the bouquets he made were so fresh they lasted for over a week! Highly highly recommended.
