History

Established in 2006.

Before I even enrolled at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, I knew that I wanted a law practice centered on both client interaction and trial work. And while serving as a law clerk for attorneys who would later become my law partners, I quickly found that the practice of matrimonial and divorce law fulfilled my desires to work with people and litigate in the courtroom. Since 1998, my law practice has been devoted to divorce and post-​divorce matters.

I earned my B.S. degree from Guilford College, a small liberal arts college in Greensboro, North Carolina. After attending Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and obtaining my Juris Doctorate degree in 1998, I devoted my practice to complex and high asset divorce and post divorce matters. I became a shareholder at my law firm, Boyd, Fernambucq & Dunn, P.C., in 2006.

Currently, I am a member of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar, a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, write articles published in the Bar Bulletin, and teach Family Law as an adjunct faculty member in Samford University’s Paralegal Studies Certificate Program.
