Birmingham Place

This is a relatively newer ‘highrise’ condominium building in downtown Birmingham. The location is pretty great, a 5 minute walk to Birmingham 8 and the CVS is right across the street. The lobby has a pool table, which is nice. There is free parking and free valet for guests, though I’ve never used it. The amenities seem decent, though I’ve never had a chance to use them. They have a terrace where residents can host barbeque parties, or some such and a place for dogs to frolic.
The residential floors of the building give off a hotel feel, which isn’t too bad. Residents have underground parking and are able to use Birmingham Place shopping carts to lug large loads up to their homes.
The only residence I’ve been inside of is a two bedroom with a balcony facing Old Woodward; it’s a great view. The bedroom windows are rather small compared to the actual size of each bedroom. Also, considering the newness of the building and the ‘luxury’ atmosphere it presents, you can still hear street noise and sound from neighbors.
