Business Owner
Dr. Peter Schaffer was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 18, 1945. His collegiate years were spent as a Towson Tiger of Towson State University in Maryland from 1963 – 1965. After deciding to further pursue a career in podiatry, Dr. Schaffer later attended the NY College of Podiatric Medicine, receiving his DPM degree in 1969. July of that same year, he devoted his time to logging residency hours at Woodward General Hospital and Warren Memorial Hospital Surgery until June of 1970. The next milestone in his career came in August of 1977 when Dr. Schaffer became board certified in surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Peter Schaffer has over 40 years of experience providing excellent foot care in the medical world of podiatry. He is a Botsford and DMC physician, performing all surgeries at Detroit Medical Center locations.
