History
Established in 2014.
Brooks Taylor and Corey Hinkel began baking together to produce bread for the Pepper Place Market in 2012. They produced their product in several kitchens around town and decided to make this a full time offering to the city of Birmingham based upon their passion for bread and customer demand. The store front opened on December 20, 2014 and every day since has been adventure. In just a few short months they began serving lunch (again, due to customer demand) and producing bread for some of the finest dining establishments in Birmingham such as Melt, Bistro216, Paramount, Highland’s Bar and Grill and Chez Fon Fon.
