History

Established in 1996.

Joseph D’Amico, started this business in 1996 out of a Chevy Van. His slogan was, «We come to you home or office.» He detailed and installed sound systems on site for five years, before settling into his first location downtown. Now, years later, #1 Sound, Detailing, Automotive and Collision Inc. is a full-​service automotive shop.

Joe and his staff installed a new head unit, back up camera, and 4 speakers in my Tahoe. Their work is top notch! I visited multiple shops before making my decision and am very pleased with the work. These guys are true professionals and passionate about what they do. They stand behind what their work. I would recommend highly, especially if you want professional quality installation.

These guys did my tint job around 2 weeks ago and it’s pretty great. My car looks great and they even had Netflix to watch while you wait for your car to be finished. I’d recommend this place to anyone and the prices weren’t bad

They made my 2009 Subaru look like a 2016! I had an interior detail that cleaned out the dog smell, dirt and fur. The exterior detail buffed out most every scratch and made my car shine. The customer service was excellent, I cannot recommend them enough

I’m not sure if this is the norm for this business or not, but I went there today to get a quote for a sound system for a truck. When I got there the door was locked and a post it note on the door said… be back at 11:15. It was around 10:45. I wouldn’t be so upset but I had made arrangements to have the truck which I normally don’t drive, picked my husband up from work to help me pick out what we needed. There was another note that said knock on bay door, which we did. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who offered and called the owner (I assume). When I spoke with Joe he said that he was out on an instillation and would be closer to 12 before he returned.
Very frustrated with this business. I had spoken with Joe a couple of weeks ago and he seemed very nice that’s why I wanted to purchase from him.
Now I’m not so sure.
Left my number on a voice mail. Has not returned my call it is now 4:15 pm.
