Took my son(15 yrs old) out for opening day for pheasant was a little apprehensive because it was his first time, Everyone there took there time with us and made us feel really comfortable, special thanks to Rick Fox for all your help in making it a great day! and to Willie our guide who despite the 95 degree heat took his time with us. Cant put a price on a father and son memory that will last a lifetime. Great job Birds Landing we’ll be back!

Set within hills covered with solar powered windmills, it can be quite beautiful. I was able to setup a group lesson for my BF’s dirty thirty here. Rick was the one who was able to help get an instructor for our group when I called for availability. When we walked into this shop, we were immediately greeted by the friendly employees and readily prepped. The boys got two 12 gauge shot guns(semi and over-under) while I got a 20 gauge semi. Pricing as of 5÷31÷15 Ear Plugs: $ 1/pair $ 15 for gun rental per person(even when a gun is shared) $ 22 for 50 targets $ 9.95/bx of ammo $ 35/hr instructor’s fee(for entire group) Clear Safety Glasses for rent but can’t remember how much Our instructor’s name was George and he was quite patient with us. The course that we went on was newly set up and had 6 stations. They had suggested we start at 50 targets since we were beginners. It’s two targets per station with 8 tries at each station but 10 at the last one. It’s about 2 boxes of ammo a person. Several employees stopped by to ask how we were doing which was very nice. We finished around 5PM(when it seemed that everyone else had left) but we never felt rushed. George gave us lots of tips as we were shooting and everyone had lots of fun. Last time I went shooting, I only was able to hit the target once. This time I was able to get 7(a lot more than I expected). When we came back, they let the birthday boy pick a hat to take home. Very sweet of them. A bit pricey but definitely want to do it again! Tips 1. Bring your own earplugs 2. Wear sunscreen 3. Bring glasses/sunglasses for protective eyewear 4. Bring bug repellent(certain times of the year brings lots of mosquitoes) 5. Bring water as time out in the sun can get dehydrating

The staff there are very helpful as well as a few of the club members out in the field. Plenty of parking. Be sure to wear cloths and foot wear that you don’t mind getting dusty from the dirt paths. Lots of mosquitoes were out there when we went(mid October). I will bring repellent for sure the next time I go. I bought my shells from Big 5 so I’m unclear on what the prices were for ammo. I spent $ 40.00 for 102 clays to shoot at. This place is fun and easy to learn how to set of the clays.

The wife and I had a lesson from George who is one of resident instructors. He was awesome very friendly engaging. The whole staff was great. Place is nice and neat. Even the members were all friendly and the burgers in the café were surprisingly good.

Went here and had an amazing time. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They were very understanding of our beginner status, having never shot sporting clays before, and extremely patient. My sister and I had a great time and the course on a Friday afternoon was very pleasant and relaxing. I can’t say enough about the great staff. They allowed us to shoot well past closing time! Will definitely be back soon.

Great place to relax and shoot pheasant. Get a hearty meal before or after the hunt.

What a cool place! Everyone we talk to is super friendly and helpful and we always have a blast here. The sporting clay course is very fun and challenging, and the grounds are well kept compared to some other courses I have been to. I haven’t shot birds here, but I imagine that will be great too!

This place is top notch. The staff isn’t always super friendly, but they’ll definitely answer your questions. They hustle a bunch of hunters in and out everyday and they’re damn efficient about it. The fields are nice, plenty of terrain, shooting range, small pro shop with guns and gear, you can purchase your license here as well.

Fantastic and friendly guide and dogs available to «rent» on site, beautiful and tasty pheasant. Not too far from SF via Fairfield and a great afternoon outing in general.

Went here for the first time yesterday. It’s a great place to do sporting clays and pheasant hunting. I went with a group of about 12 guys. We had a great time. We all got birds, the staff cleaned them for us and the lunch was really good. I highly recommend this place.
