Burger Mondays Bar & Grille

Underappreciated place — should have steady five stars. It’s our go-​to place in Binghamton. It’s a nice place to sit, spacious and classy. It’s not crowded, and even when it is busy, they’ll seat you in the bar. The burgers are excellent (and there are some creative options), and the salads are more than enough for my vegetarian relatives. Beer selection is wide.

Service was great — beer selection was not too shabby — the food was mediocre. I had the tuna burger so I suspect the regular burgers are probably better. Either way it’s definitely worth checking it out when you’re looking for some options in downtown.

Best burger in Binghamton. The burgers are… round, tall, and hard to fit in your mouth. Maybe the roundness helps ensure they’re not overly cooked?
The fries taste a little burnt and barbequed, but the crunchy texture makes up for it. Service is slow but attentive — they’re happy to customize drinks and toppings for you.

I stopped in last evening with my boyfriend around 730pm. We arrived and it wasn’t busy maybe four to five other tables were sat, the hostess sat us shortly at a booth by the window. Overall, it was okay. Sadly, waitress wasn’t very attentive nor did she ask if everything was cooked correctly or if we needed anything else (which is a huge pet peeve of mine.) I ordered the southern bbq pork burger/​garlic Parm. Fries and it was okay, little to no bbq sauce and the cole slaw was tasteless. The fries were super thin, similar to those you’d get at McDonald’s except at least at McDonald’s they wouldn’t be completely soggy. My boyfriend ordered the classic burger and Mac n cheese. He stated the burger was okay but wasn’t cooked as he had requested. The one upside of our meal was that the mac n cheese was very good And that is the main reason I rated ³⁄₅ stars instead of ²⁄₅. Sadly, I don’t think one good dish is worth me returning and spending money of lackluster food and mediocre service.

Had a big group dinner, and it was good. The bison burger was tasty, juicy, and large. There was a huge pile of fries I couldn’t come close to finishing. The strawberry shake wasn’t great, but the peach cobbler dessert was very good. The ice cream sandwich was also a winner. We left satisfied.

Its good for once and a while when you want a specialty burger. I try a different burger every time I go. It is on the expensive side.

Stopped in our way to other places. Great burgers, fries and mac and cheese… Super super friendly service, if I am ever in Binghamton again, I’ll be back. Five year old loooved the mac and cheese. Overall not cheap, but delicious.

Excellent place! My burger was done to perfection and the service was excellent. The atmosphere brought me back to my Burger Lounge LA days. Definitely coming back here :)

They did a promotional during the Binghamton mayoral race where they created 2 burgers named after each of the candidates. The winner was supposed to be put on the menu but it never was? They should, both were excellent!
Kitchen service can be slow at times but worth the wait. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to many burger joints, but it seems like I haven’t had a good burger in a long time. This all changed when I came to Burger Mondays.
The burger was excellent. I had the Mondays Original burger. It was cooked exactly the way I like it and tasted amazing! The house cut fries were also very good.
I also decided to try the Apple Strudel. I was expecting a small portion, but it was big enough to satisfy two or three people. It was so delicious that I ate the whole thing without even realizing it.
I’ll definitely be back at Burger Mondays next time I visit Binghamton.

The absolute worst restaurant I have been to. I went with my boyfriend on a MONDAY night, their specialty night, and waited an HOUR for an ok burger when we were one of three tables in the restaurant. The service was absolutely horrible, our waitress came to our table once to take our order and once to drop off the check. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to pick up our check and After almost every employee walked by us, we ended up having to stand up and pay with the bartender. Never again will I come here. Never will I recommend it. Horrible experience.
