History

Established in 1982.

Dr. Thomas grew up in Butte, Montana, attended Butte Central High School, Gonzaga University, and the University of Washington and began private dental practice in 1982.

Other milestones in the history of Thomas Smile Designs:

— Became a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1994

— Completed Ultimate Anterior Esthetics at the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1995

— Became a clinical instructor at Baylor College in 1995 at the college’s request

— Earned accredited status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 1995

— Became an examiner and mentor for the AACD in 1996

Business Owner

Dr. Thomas loves fishing and hunting the streams and wilderness of Montana, playing basketball and working out.

He is a self-​described ‘education junkie’. With certifications earned through thousands of hours of advanced classes, tests, and hands-​on practical exams, he is one of less than 20% of dentists recognized by the AGD and the AACD as experts in both the science and art of dentistry.
