History

Established in 1987.

Doug’s dad Mark always dreamed of owning his own automotive repair business so, in 1987 he left Pabst to pursue his dream and bought Martin’s Automotive Service.

Doug grew up watching his dad work on cars and eventually started working for his dad once he was old enough. Doug went off to college and earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from UW-​Madison but he didn’t love engineering as much as he loved working on cars.

He moved home and started working for his dad again and eventually bought the business when his dad retired. He married his wife Kate in 2007 and they hope to keep the business in the family for many years to come!

Business Owner

Doug is a UW-​Madison Mechanical Engineering graduate. He was given the opportunity to take over the family business from his father in 2005 and he jumped on the opportunity. Since then he made it his mission to be the best in the industry while sustaining his original goal which is to keep the same values of his family owned business.
