Lindberg -Individual Suites

My fiancé and I decided to make a last minute trip to big bear for our anniversary. I found the Lindberg suites online and from other reviews, I decided to book the room. It was tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area. Once we arrived, we called Dave and he met us within in a few minutes to give us the key and show us around the suite. He was very friendly and gave us some tips on hiking.
Our room was very clean and cute with the modern décor. The bed sheets are euro style (no top sheet) which is different but not a problem. The large jacuzzi is awesome. You can watch Apple TV while relaxing in the jacuzzi after a long day hiking. There is also a separate shower and tub with vanity area.
The room was equipped with a fridge and microwave as well as a few cooking utensils and supplies. A big plus if you are planning on an extended stay!
The suite does not have AC so keep that in mind if you are planning on visiting during warmer months. This did not bother me during Early June. There is heat for cold months via the fireplace, which also serves as ambiance lighting.
Overall, the room was very cute comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely consider this for future options! A perfect couples getaway.

**** worst experience that I ever have**** the room is nice well model but the property manager is really creepy. I would love to pay that about money in some resort instead of a fake and unprofessional hotel. The price isn’t worst for the service that we receive the manager name claim his name is steven but when we cal tremendous time he kept changing name. So I don’t know that this guy is actually work for this place or not. we are not feel comfortable to stay when he is not arrived and have to wait and also his name kept changing every time I called when I ask him what is your name he pick up first as a same name steven then when I repeat he kept saying different name that mark, mike and dave. When we ask for owner or supervisor he refuse and he just took our key without refund. And we are just complaining about how long do we have to wait for him to come to the hotel when we need assist coz the light went out in the room And he decide to take us a key and charged our money. We got kicked out literally coz we complain. We have to go find someplace instead and steven refuse to refund money. If you want nice experience and professional and worth money.

***BEWARE…SCAM HOTEL AND OWNER***
1. Went to «suite», which is basically a dump.
2. Was charged a different amount by the owner from the amount that I paid for on Orbitz.
2. Paid for the room, and got KICKED OUT after 2 hours because he believed that I was bringing a small dog into the room. The owner, Steve, forcefully stole the key from my girlfriend’s hand and screamed at her to get out or he’ll call the cops. REFUSED TO GIVE REFUND for room… CREEPY OWNER…
NEVER GOING BACK… LOST $ 200…

I stayed in the «Gold Rush» suite for 2 nights. The Lindberg Suites is a 4-​plex cabin off Big Bear Blvd. It was a little difficult to find at first but not a problem after a couple passes. The room has a big screen tv with apple tv and netflix (free Wifi too). It also has a large jacuzzi tub, king sized bed, faux fireplace, microwave, hot plate, pot and pan, dishes, refrigerator, cups.
In order to get into your room at check in, you have to call David (property manager) who will come out and meet you and give you the key to the suite. I recommend calling him a couple hours prior to arriving in Big Bear to give him a heads up and again when you arrive. David is really nice!
Positives: Large VERY comfortable bed, very comfortable blanket, large tv with a lot of options, jacuzzi tub, location, room size.
Negaties: Toilet was broken (not clogged or caused by use but the mechanism in the tank was broken and there was water sprayed everywhere on the ground on check in; also the toilet would not stop flushing). Luckily I was able to fix it myself without having to call David to come out. Bathroom was kinda dirty and needed some maintenance (there were broken tiles). There were several light bulbs that were out and made the room darker than intended around the bathroom sink area. No daily room service to change out dirty towels (I had to use a couple to clean the water in the bathroom so we were down a couple towels). The tv flickered at times and sometimes if there was a lot of movement upstairs and the Wifi internet went down a couple times.
Overall, it was an okay experience. If the bathroom was more well maintained then it would receive 4 stars.

It’s a four plex. Really clean, close to the resorts, walking distance from the village with several options to eat, shop and rent your gear. The room design is fun and different to other hotels. They have Neflix, Apple TV, Internet, a big jacuzzi tub :) :) The guy who received us was gentle. My husband and I would go back other times.

Lindberg suites is a four-​plex cabin on big bear Blvd. This place is so nice my husband surprised me. We were met by Dave who gave us the keys to get in our suite. He was very nice and funny there wasn’t a office do we called him when we were down the street he was there in 5 min .When we walked in I was so shocked because it was so nice. There was a big tv and a nice jacuzzi which was so relaxing when we got in it. There was a nice fire place that kept us worm. The bed was great we loved it was a pretty big size and very comfortable. Over all a great experience we definitely will be staying here again and recommending it to friends.

Lindberg suites is nice inside don’t get me wrong but the noise way early in the morning from cars traveling on Big Bear Blvd is way too loud to sleep through. The owners are very nice so if you have a chance to speak to them directly please do. Dave, the property manager on the other hand is very rude and has a tremendous lack of people and hospitality skills. We planned to stay there for two days but because of the noise and Dave the property manager we chose to relocate to another location. Please don’t let this review discourage you from staying here because the owners and the suites are very nice and modern but I hope you don’t have to have any interaction with Dave.

This place is perfect for a couples get away! We recently stayed here for two nights and it’s perfectly located in the center of everything.
The comfort of our room was great, it’s modern and technology friendly from Apple TV and wifi to usb plus everywhere. The décor is fun and makes you feel like it’s a fancy hotel room in Vegas.
The tub is so convenient and works great, it’s so helpful after being in the snow all day.
The only suggestion I would have is to bring some extra pillows if your driving in from near by. The bed is large, but the pillows were a little soft and I tend to like more sturdy and full pillows for neck support. Other then that the place is great!
We will definitely be back!

Stayed at these suites Saturday evening-​Monday morning. To summarize our stay, COMFORT is the best description. My husband surprised us with a weekend in the snow, and it did not disappoint! Right as we got there, (it’s tucked in between the Black Forest lodge and another building), we were greeted by the innkeeper. He was so polite and inviting, and gave us the key and set up Netflix on the large TV facing the bed! Score! We had the gold rush suite. The room was cozy and warm, perfect for the cold winter temperature outside. The bed is European style with two twin down comforters, and a mix of firm/​soft pillows. There’s no top sheet, which I’m totally fine with as I don’t sleep with one at home anyhow. The mattress was so comfortable and my husband said he slept like a baby. The décor in the room was interesting, furniture is modern and the fireplace gave it a nice touch, however it’s not real. The jacuzzi tub was lovely and provided that extra comfort for us after a long day of skiing. They provide a set of dishes and some pans and a single portable stovetop which I thought was great if you didn’t want to go out to eat every meal. Can’t wait to come back to this little gem! :)

I am speechless! For lack of a better word, Perfect doesn’t even come close! This place is an ornate spot with stunning in room features! Close to all the mountains and with comforting owner and staff who showed us all features, where to eat and more! We arrived and the owner was there shoveling the driveway for us! Amazingly kind service!
The room is exquisite, modern European influence with a GIANT in room spa! A must stay when in Big Bear! We could not be happier! Wish I could give 10 stars! Thank you Lindberg Suites, California! We will be back!

Lindberg Suites is a four-​plex cabin on Big Bear Blvd. Recently remodeled to include a big screen TV and Jacuzzi tub. The decorating and furnishings have a European flair. I would give it 3.5 stars but Unilocal does not allow that.
Positives– Large, great location walking distance to the Village. Big screen TV with Netflix and Apple TV. Jacuzzi tub will fit two you can watch TV as you enjoy your Jacuzzi.
Negatives– Hard to find with no monument sign or address. Some traffic noise from street. It misses some of the small touches needed. No clock, no pad of paper for notes, no daily maid service, no coffee maker– only an Espresso machine. No onsite manager, you must call to meet Dave with a key. Dave was very helpful. You get one key-​not a programmable card. The bed was not very comfortable and what bothered me most was the bed only came with a bottom sheet and a comforter. This is what I have at home and I love it however, I am sure the comforter is not laundered every time there is a guest change which gives me the feel of sleeping in someone else’s bed. We stayed over Christmas so the lack of AC was not an issue. Not even a ceiling fan so I would be not stay here in warm weather.
I believe the owner could bring this up to four stars with some fairly minor changes.

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend and the experience was great. The staff meets you with a key to the room, there’s no office. Dave was really nice and gave some great suggestions for things to do in the area. It’s close to everything.
The room is a little quirky but in a good way. If you’re a fan of IKEA you’re in luck and the hot tub is amazing.
Our only complaints were the water noises coming through the pipes. Anytime someone took a shower or filled their hot tub you could hear the water in the walls. The Swedish mattress was very comfortable but there’s no top sheet and the comforter got too hot at night. I’d imagine if you’re staying here during ski season it wouldn’t be a problem.
There’s an espresso machine in the room if you’re into that nonsense but there’s a coffee roaster across the street that has some good stuff, just don’t get nailed by traffic…
Overall, for the price, it’s a really great alternative to a big hotel.

This place was amazing… I stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend for his birthday and everything was perfect. For starters the room was really clean and the location is just perfect. It is close to everything 2 mins away from the Village and the Marina. We will definitely be back!!!

First trip to big bear. I heard of this place through a friend and decided to check it out myself. It’s a bit of a drive but the location is worth it. Good food around at an okay price and everything is in walking distance if you stay here. There’s a brewery only five minutes away and a bunch of little shops all close by. The room was nice, clean, came with wifi and a smart tv. Didn’t spend to much time in the room but it was nice to have the option to stay in. The coolest thing was the huge bath that easily fit two. Took some time to fill up but was well worth the wait.

Absolutely loved this place! This was my hubby and I getaway for our one year anniversary and let’s just say it was well worth it! Loved the cozy suite! So romantic and near everything! Everything was a walking distance and best of all it made our stay memorable. David checked us in and he was so sweet and nice. He even brought us a bottle of wine as an anniversary gift! How sweet is that? Loved this place and the deco is just so amazing! Can I say I’m deff remodeling our place like this. Oh and ps try the zip line tour it is so adventurous and adrenaline rushing!

Awesome room that is well kept and nicely decorated. We were met by Dave to check in and get our key. He was very nice and offered to help us with our bags and made himself available to us at any time if we needed anything. The room came equipped with an espresso maker, hot tub, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, a mini cooktop and even dishes, glasses and utensils. Very accommodating!
Awesome location… 5 – 10 min walk to the village with awesome food and shops, and you’re a 5 min walk to the lake.

I stayed here while in town visiting family for two nights last weekend. There is no office to check in at, you have to call and someone will meet you at the room to let you in. We were met by Dave who was very friendly and got there within only a couple minutes of our call. He answered all of our questions and even recommended restaurants nearby. A+ for customer service!
The room itself was very clean and modern. The room was large and included a jacuzzi, large wall mounted TV, electric fireplace, a small table and 2 bar stools, a separate bathroom with a shower/​tub combo, a mini-​fridge (that actually gets very cold which was a great thing) a hot plate (this was the first time I’ve ever seen one), toaster, some dishes (plates, silverware, glasses) and a separate vanity area that included some hair products. Overall the room was well worth the money I paid.
The room only had a couple drawbacks, no AC and no screens on the windows. We had no options when it came to trying to cool down the room. We went to KMart up the street and bought an oscillating fan which helped, but not quite enough. It was a warm weekend and because of the Lake Fire you could smell the smoke so we wanted to keep it closed up. Because there were no screens on the windows there was no choice other than to keep it closed up because we didn’t want to be hot, smell like smoke and have bugs in our room. I’ve never had a room without AC so I didn’t think to ask, next time I will. This may be common in Big Bear, I really don’t know. I’ve done a lot of travelling and this was a first for me. The coolest the room went down to was 78 degrees. If the fire wasn’t an issue and there were screens on the windows the lack of AC may not have been such an issue for me.
I’m sure this would be a great room to rent in the winter and we may be back. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest renting the upstairs rooms because you hear a lot of foot traffic below. This didn’t really bother us though, it’s an older building we expected it.
The room was called «Magic Midnight».

Really nice, looks just like the pictures, super clean which is my biggest pet peeve when staying somewhere. Awesome tv and bathtub. Will be back!
